1979 Suzuki GS1000E

The third Southern Classic was held in the first weekend of December at Levels International Raceway, near Timaru in the South Island of New Zealand. This year Mike Pero came on board as sponsor and the event was renamed the Mike Pero Southern Classic. A great event well supported by both entrants and spectators.
