RV Sewage Problem Solved ~ Grossest Experience Of My Life!!
The RV septic problem is finally solved in one of the grossest experiences of my life! I believe the previous owner disposed of a clorox wipe in the toilet causing a jam. I think this because the sanicon has never worked properly. Glad it is finally figured out!

Yup,…..waiting for it to happen and then LAUGHING and LAUGHING and LAUGHING,…..as it's part of the whole RV experience. As any RV'er knows.
Chris I'm so glad you filmed it brother I learned so much what to expect riding RV please keep doing what you doing.
oh man 🙁 totally feeling that one. My hubby had to learn that one with a portable tank….a honey wagon. I remember watching him. Thanks for posting this ….totally makes all RVers feel better. <3 Huggs
Glad you filmed this, very educational !
You could've done that job around 9500 miles ago.
That shower nozzle would've been running on that day! Yeah, raw sewage…bears poop in the streets to in Alaska!
Should have used a mask.
I would be taking a shower in rubbing alcohol after that. EEEAAGHHHHHH!!
I may never eat a chiliburger again.
Chris you might consider adding a twist on knife valve in between the Sanicon and the RV..

Paaaaainfull. That must have been so hard.
I haven't laughed that hard in a long time .
It was just as funny the second time I watched it .
What happened to placing a bucket under before unscrewing the pipe? You knew what happens when you unscrew any line. Expect something to come out.
Disgusting Hayes it was but YOU will never let that happen to your tank again lol good job though. I have to patch mine soon the thing drips occasionally and well I think it has a crack in the tank. I hope I handle it as well as you just did. Later travels Chris n G
that was a surprise……
A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do ☺
You should of sat there enjoying your Pizza examining the situation. 🙂
Omg dude! There's a plug that you remove on the bottom. Then you take a hose and rinse the area out. But I'm sure you know that by now.
I know it's gross, but when people leave their black tank valve open, this happens all the time. The valves go bad as well. This happens to the best of us. We just man up and get it done. You can take a shower afterwards.
I worked on commercial aircraft toilet systems, yeah it looks bad and smells even worse! Respirator if you can afford one, face shield (forget the goggles), liquid resistant coveralls, and double bag the pump before removing it. Lots of little learning experiences. Been there, happy trails!
GREAT JOB Chris I had the same problem and paid someone to do that job that was professional.. AND guess what still had problem and then when I did what you did it was poopoo free Good to see your on the right track. I have enjoyed all your videos. THANK YOU and you too G!
To clean the shit out of the black holding tank use 1 cup of calgon or other water softer and 1 cuo of Dish soap like dawn. let it sit for a bit maybe 24 hours, then dump it you might need to do this a couple of times for get it clean I just did this after getting my Sani-Conn installed and it now have clear tanks for the first time in this motor home! Good Luck.
It's no fun dealing with your Shit
Chris; You just became a member of the club. Remember, it's your poop and not someone elses.
its a shitty job but someone has to do it lol good job
Hey Chris, very responsible of you to clean up any remaining mess after fixing the black tank issue, even going to the extent of sanitizing tap handles. Very high standard of conduct on your part sir. I applaud you.
Holy Crap! That groove you talk about is called an ass crack. Or at least the smell of ass crack.
ok.. ok.. ok.. vs. bleep.. bleep.. bleep.. i get it!
take away – have nose clip, rain coat or tyvek full painters suit, full face shield.. 🙂
Holy crap.
This video got me so hungry for deep fried anal rings and creamy diarrhea sauce.
Is it common to have the black tank stuff anywhere near your fresh water stuff?? On our Fleetwood Discovery, the black and grey tank things are in a completely separate bay from our fresh water things. That is so gross and unfortunate if that is common.
Always be aware of where you leave your tools; I imagine you splashed your tool tray pretty badly too. Also, the dump bay bottom should have a provision for draining; some coaches have a big, removable plug in the bottom of the fiberglass compartment. If yours doesn't, drill a drain hole in the fiberglass tray; someday you will need it. For sanitizing, a sprayer with ordinary bleach gets to hidden places much more easily than the cloth wipes, and its a lot cheaper. Spray with bleach, let it stand for a few minutes and spray off with non-potable water. Lastly, I assume you must have splashed the "city" water inlet connector; get a plug for that fitting and always keep the plug in place; this will protect the potable water system from any splashes.
In hindsight it might be nice to have a disposable full body suit to help troubleshoot the sanitation system. But whatever doesn't kill you just makes you stronger 🙂
I had the same thing happen to me Its gross
That was a shitty job, good work dude. If you need a home base in Fl. you are both welcome here on my 5 acres !
PS- drill a two inch hole in the low point of that compartment and wash out your compartment that way !
Hey buddy I feel your pain. My ex-mother-in-law had renters in her mobile home on a piece of property she owned. I got a call to come see if I could unplug the toilet. It was winter in Canada. I used a snake to try and unplug the toilet as the plunger was doing nothing. The snake would only go a couple feet and then stop against something hard. I crawled under the mobile home. Right away I saw the problem. Someone used a RV flex hose to connect the sewer and there was extra length coiled on the ground. It must have froze at some point then the flex hose broke near the down pipe. There was a mound of frozen black and grey water about 3 feet high under there … Guess who had to chip away at it to install a proper chunk of pipe in the system? It was a blessing it was frozen but I still had to crawl around on the frozen black water to fix it.
That's it!
No RVing for me!!!
NEVER drain a partial black tank. Always fill it up completely then drain. Even if you are going to drain a partial tank, fill it up then dump it. the rush and force of a full tank of water exiting will help get rid of the sediment.
Thanks for the heads up. This is a very Powerful demonstration. You are a very Brave, Strong and Courageous Person. One-of-a-kind.
YOU ARE BLESSED.
