I like back rests too, fast smooth bikes, comfortable seat and Honda reliability, but they are geezer bikes…
SO HOW MUCH FOR 02 GOING FOR OR A DWN PAYMENT
Nice 1800 ! thanks for the ride !
Do your knees hit the fairing? I am 6' and I have often heard anything over 6' and your knees will hit. My only concern for a goldwing. Would love to have one but worry I will feel cramped.
I have a 1500 Goldwing that I use as a "grocery runner" since I can fit about 8 bags of groceries in the bags! Mine has floor boards and what is nice about the boards is they make for better lean angles. Yes, I am 6', 220lbs and over 60 years old, but I have owned over 40 bikes in my 40 plus years of riding. If I had to chose one bike to own, it would be a Goldwing. I currently have my 2000 Goldwing 1500, 2014Triumph Thunderbird 1600 ABS, 2003 HD Road King CVO 103 cu in and old reliable 1997 HD Softail Heritage Springer with the Evo 80 cu in (all in my garage right now). I traded a 2007 BMW K1200R Sport for the Triumph recently (so I have owned sport bikes in my 60s)! What is on my bucket list for bikes? Another Vmax and a Goldwing 1800!!! I have only bought 1 new bike in my life, 1976 KZ900, and will stick with buying used bikes, always!!!
I just learned how to ride but a goldwing is my dream bike
My wife hates everything except goldwing, which she finds tolerable.
For old people.
Nice Bike, I hope to upgrade to a 1500GL or 1800GL GoldWing next year I currently own the 1200GL GoldWing and love it.
