FIRST TEST RIDE | TRIUMPH STREET CUP
After struggling with my Triumph Bonneville T100, I’ve been testing out other options, including the lighter classic Triumph models. This bike and the Triumph Street Twin are the little guy’s Bonneville. Here’s why.

I would just consider Japanese bikes I hear too many negative things about European and American bikes You'll have a lot of trouble free miles with a Japanese bike There are tons of choices Later and have a good one
By the time Doodle finds a bike, SHE will weigh 30lbs more.
YESSSSS!!! Glad you finally found a bike you love in that style!!
I like the handlebar style. Very Cafe racer. You didn’t show anything else though. I guess you will do when you get it 😜
That's cool 😎
Funny…the cup and twin are basically contemporary to the T100 so I always wondered why she didn't end up with one of those in the first place! Better late than never.
Hi it we’ll go even better if you de cat it and sound better
You should do a test ride on the Street Twin and film it.
Glad you’re sticking with the Triumph brand. Beautiful bikes and not everybody has one.
Glad to see you on a lighter bike. That is the problem for most new riders getting bikes that are to heavy for them. Now that you are riding in the mountains more I would recommend getting your braking skills to a higher level more front brake less rear braking. With more speed you need more brakes. Read "Nick Ienatsch" he is the master on the application of brakes. Your low speed (under10 mph) skill set does not work well in higher speed (over 10 mph) riding. Find a coach get on a track learn about cornering lines, apexes, etc. etc. become a master it will keep you safe.
It’s really nice to c u riding awesome motorcycles but whenever u shout in surprise while riding… it sounds annoying… and my parents suspects me .. whether I’m watching pornography 😮LoL
I also wonder if you should try the Street Twin. Same bike/specs as the Street Cup, but with better ergonomics… more upright and maybe more comfortable for you.
I know I've posted on your videos before but I do absolutely adore my Street Cup. I'm 5'6" and it fits me well. A 5'2" friend has tested it too and she really liked it also.
👍💀👍
Doodle you're adorable…it's like every bike is your favorite bike!
they should give you one !
I am delighted for you, Doodle! This was heartwarming to view!
tell the truth, you redid the voiceover because you were giggling the whole time ;-P
But for us its not annoying..your giggles..
I'm going to take full 100% credit for this because I recommended the Street Cup for you to try in at least one or two of your videos. 🙂
I don't think it's marketed as a cruiser. It's in the cafe cruiser style so not a true cruiser in the standard sense. On the Street Cup you lean just a bit forward; not necessarily a sports bike tuck but a bit of a lean. And at 54hp it's not meant to be a speed demon. I love the looks of it too. I've sat on one here locally, but have not rode it. I was thrilled to see this video from you.
The way you say buttons… ✌️😂 like “the buh unz” lol!!! Omg! 😂 Sounds like a fun bike. Im actually looking for a tiny little front screen (☝️🎃fairing if you will) similar to how that one is, for my XSR900. Found a couple, but havent decided yet, and Santa Clause has my damn wallet right now anyway. 🙄 Least until after new years or so. Pudgy old white bearded eggnogg chugger takes it every year, and NO motorcycle parts till I get it back. SumZzz a beaches!! 😜
When you do a review of the bike show the whole bike people would like to see what your talking about
You do look good on that bike. Stay classy little lady!
Greetings! I brought Angus, my '17 Street Cup home over turkey weekend. And loving it for all the reasons you mention. I'm 5'7" so height and weight were huge benefits. The Twin put up a fight though! In the end, I really wanted the two dials, more nimble steering (Cup is slightly taller, with different rake and trail). So, go for it! T100 is awesome too, but yeah, noticeably heavier.
No real time commentary? I love hearing when your excited. Hahaha
It doesn't feel like a cruiser because it isn't a cruiser. It is a standard. Great review though and great bike. I think it will be my choice
I've had a chance to test ride this bike over the summer too and liked it a lot. But your enthusiasm shows so much more than mine so I've shared this to a few of my friends instead of making my own video. LOL! 👍👍👍
Love your videos as always.
Honda Grom
Love your energy in the video.
Try the Ducati scrambler Icon. Much lighter, comfortable, great fun and you wont drop it so no worries picking it up!

Doodle
I TOLD you that this would be the PERFECT bike for you!!!!! I am SO happy for you!!! After I sat on one next to my Thruxton R at the dealer, I made a mental note that, this is the perfect for around town bike for anyone and a smaller person as an everyday rider. Doodle, I really hope you have a great time on this bike and I wish you a very MERRY Christmas lady!! PEACE to you and all you love. Ride safe and BE safe lady. Cheers….
I just ordered the Cafe fairing for my Thruxty R as my Christmas present as well as Triumph full summer riding leathers for riding my Rocket Roadster. This will be a long winter staring at beautiful bikes…. P.S….I start the Rocket every day before leaving the shop just to here its sound. It sounds like a WWII airplane!!! Unreal! Peace.
Your beautiful Street Cup is the little Sister of my Thruxton R. The menu buttons are the same on the grip as well as the riding position with the clip on bars.
I knew this would fill your bike needs very well. The Street Cup is anything BUT a cruiser! It is a Cafe racer just like the Thruxton R. These are Retro bikes that were the rage before the Japanese created the Sport bikes we have today. Triumph riders created the first cafe racers at the ACE club Pub in England and waged drinks and dinners between cafes as races. Thus Cafe racers. This became a fad in the 70's worldwide and I built 2 here in the states. That is just a bit of what you are riding's history
