Africa Twin For The Win! 2016 Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin Review | On Two Wheels
After a year of suspense, the 2016 Africa Twin is finally here! Well, it’s in South Africa anyway, which is where we went to put Honda’s new ADV bike through its paces. Thirteen years after the original model went out of production, Honda has resurrected the legendary Africa Twin name and slapped it on the side of a big-wheeled, 1000cc machine that looks like it belongs in a desert race. But how does it work? Watch the video to find out.

well done I am the 80000 subscriber you're welcome😀
What would recommend for a 60/40 tire for the Twin?
what does ADV stand for ?
подожду 5 лет пока подешевеет ))))
Пока на 750 покатаюсь )))
Besides possible packaging issues why not just use a Superhawk or RC51 engine? Already developed, more power everywhere, sounds and I'm sure feels better… What's the attraction with developing an entirely new parallel twin of the same displacement with 82 hp when they already had two liter v-twins making 100 and 125hp respectively. What's the attraction with parallel twins period?
Will it Hold it in Ladakh ???? More Precisely Khardun_La.
also in Tawang (ArunanchalPradesh)…
Google both & You'll know why I asked…
Would love to see longer episodes!
ım not a big fan of ADV's but this bike looks so good
DCT takes time to get used to but once you do… I have a 2010 VFR 1200FD and after learning how to use it right I would have a hard time going back to manual. One big tip DONT use the S or D modes, D can come in handy in very heavy rain when you want to tone it down some but otherwise I just use the "manual" mode and paddle shift. Only drawback is lack of clutch so for slow speed it is all about throttle control. I wish people who do reviews of DCT bikes actually had some experience with them, otherwise they always complain about it since they dont know how to use it right.
In the on road and off road sections did they use the stock wheels or did they switch to street wheels and then dirt wheels. That would greatly improve the feeling in both settings.
Is it easy to fix in the bush, it seems like an older bike without computers would be more suitable for overlanding
You show the off road segment with different tires but don't mention that??????
Got DCT on order. Thanks for the great review and video
how can i get a job like yours? (really)
v engine or inline ?
§☻☻ wΛ∩t t∏¡§ Þ¡kξ !!!
Would be great fun to ride in Australia too ….
Very good report. I've tried the AfricaTwin with the Autoshift on the road an i was not impress with it. I didnt like it. I can understand this option for some bikes because its hard to built a nice, smooth manuel transmission that work well under pressure it is not so easyI I would not change m'y Tiger transmission for that.
awesome
I need to work my ass off to buy something like that…fuck the system
sponsored biased much?
Nice bike but… it will soon cost 43k and you can own it for 10years hahaha

Space-age electronics… but no cruise control. Can't buy this bike, sorry.
Album overwhelming reason reserve steel front aid candy.
Ari, one of these days you should ask for an Aprilia Mana to test, I guess that you'll like it.
