CRT frontrunner Randy de Puniet

Racing for the Aspar Racing Team in the new for 2012 CRT class (designed to provide a lower cost point for the non-factory teams), he would spend most of the 2012 season competing against Aleix Espargaró for unofficial class victory, eventually finishing the season 13th overall and just behind Espargaró in the class.
