BSA Motorcycles from around the world. The BSA motorcycle company, Birmingham Small Arms began life in 1861 and traded until 1973. The first BSA Motorcycles didn’t appear until 1880 having made guns before this, and continued after 1880. BSA Motorcycles bought Sunbeam and then Ariel but their biggest breakthrough was the introduction of the BSA Bantam in 1948 and eventually BSA Motorcycles were the biggest in the world.
