1941 Indian Scout 750cc

The 8th Mountain Thunder Street Race was held on the Saturday of Easter weekend at Methven. This is a rural town about an hours ride south of Christchurch in the South Island of New Zealand. A range of classes race as part of the days events. The photos here are a selection of some, but not all, of the earlier machines. I hope you enjoy the photos of these great motorcycles.
