I'm happy and sad at the same time.
I want this bike so bad, but no money right now 😢
race based performance screams cruiser to me way to waste a good motor victory i know let's rebadge a scout they will never know
loved how project 156 was prominently showed in the beginning, then how utter disappointment washed over me when I saw this thing with forward controls, sunk in seat and a single brake disk up front. looks like I'm sticking with Tuonos and FZ09s
F__K YEAH! V I C T O R Y ! ! !
technology lmao man its a scout with a gunner back end
This bike it what I have been waiting for Victory Motorcycles to do for a long time! Something great that has been stripped down to as raw & pure as is possible. I have owned sport bikes, cruisers, dual sports, and bar hoppers. If I were to buy a new bike right now, I would be hard pressed to find something else so fitting for my riding style.
Single disc brake and no inverted forks= FAIL! Come on Victory my XC is hotter than this POS
i like it, finally a decent looking motor and a nice bike.
the motor is all new it is not the scout motor, do they share things of course, but most of the bike and the engine is different.
victory claims only 30-35% shared parts with their indian scout stablemate so its a different bike and i really like the way the motor looks.
I will stick with my little 650 twin. It will walk away from this easy and is crazy reliable.
I love Victory, i have a '16 Highball, but come on guys, this is JUST a victory badged Indian Scout.
Is it me, or does this bike look alot like the Indian Scout? Both companies being owned by Polaris, you can't help but wonder how similar both companies designs are?
Put a pic of this bike and the Indian Scout side by side. It's the same engine.
all the pikes peak bike hype added to my big letdown.I was expecting something like a Buell X1 on steroids and got a Indian scout sport.
This is a marketing strategy by Polaris. They dont care if you buy Indian (Scout) or Victory (Octane, Ignition or Combustion), as long as you buy one of them instead of a Harley Davidson (VRod)…..Polaris will be happy. Good strategy that will work to some extent. Time will tell just how well it works. Nice bikes all of them.
How fast 1/4 mile
They started with a race bike, and ended up with this badge engineered Indian Scout. What a let down.
bye bye harley!
Very small bike feels like you are riding a oversized moped.
FUCK OFF VICTORY!!! You fucken make your pub on a full modifyed Octane. What a lasy way way to sell your scrap. Liars!!!
Race based…………..
Cheeky and liars.
With good lawyers…
The Octane versus Scout Versus Sportser. The winners and the loser in that order
Great to see some new way of thinking from US brands, the Octane seems to be a great bike. It is time to realize air cooled twins belongs to the past if getting any power and durability of the engines.
Very nice bike. Can't wait to take this one out on a testdrive. It does has a Sons of Anarchy – vibe.
Single disc brake and no inverted forks is a massive fail. you guys really dropped the ball here. This bike needs to be more of a naked street sport bike with Brembos and great shocks. If you made that you wouldn't be able to make em fast enough. Instead you carbon copy an old bike and resell it with a few tweaks. Massive fail.
