Royal Enfield Bullet Machismo 500 – Chrome Polishing

The Royal Enfield Bullet Machismo is full of chrome – and I am feeling really sorry that I have to tell: this chrome everywhere is looking very nice, but it takes really a lot of work to keep it shining.

Some screws and other parts of the bike become very fast matt and even little bit rusty, because their finishing is of relatively bad quality – but using regularly a polishing paste, which is good for use with chromium surfaces as well as with polished aluminium parts, can help a lot.

The work itself is relatively easy: after washing the bike, let it completely dry. Then apply the paste, let it dry, and then polish it nicely. Do it in the shadow, this will help to keep everything nicely shining, and You don´t have to sweat too much …

Vasanthama is performing that job, and as usual, she does it just excellent!

And for those who did not see my first cleaning video, or did not read the description there, some more details:

– this should be a funny video, pl. don´t take it serious
– Vasanthama loves the Machismo and likes to clean it (and I don´t like to clean it at all, I prefer technical maintenance and riding, of course – so we have a clear win-win-situation)
– according to me, she is really benchmark in Machismo cleaning, it looks always perfect, and since she does it carefully, nice and needly, I had never any technical problems from water or so
– Vasanthama is neither my wife nor my girlfriend (and she is a married mother with kids).
