RIL-LEB Eight Miles High

Enroute from Rifle, Colorado to Lebanon, New Hampshire at 43,000 feet from the Lear-60 passing between Sheboygan and Milwaukie (foreground). Chicago, about 120 miles away, is on the horizon. The motion blur is because of a 1 second exposure while travelling about 590 mph (510 knots) over the ground. Uploaded from a motel room in nearby White River Junction, Vermont. I think this is my first time in Vermont, the only state I’ve never stepped in, until tonight. Canon G5.
