Nice info here. I had a 2005 1100 Yamaha because lots of former HArely riders advised me the difference. I had to upgrade to a 2007 1600/1700 a year later as my wife enjoys riding with me. I want to remove my tank badge and fabricate one says "Hardly Damnit Son"
soon as you pulled out the heat gun I'm outta here!
im going to use this, thanks for posting!
BILL DOZER, YOU ARE A PUSSY!!!
DO NOT USE a heater! I have a two tone gas tank. My wife's hair dryer, less heat than a heat gun, removed the top layer of paint. Luckily I caught it in time so as not to do too much damage. I covered the damage with a small USMC emblem. I was able to remove the original emblem with WD-40 and a credit card a a lot of time and a lot of careful scraping.
will this work on my 01 kawi 1500 vn classic
I need remove emblems fuel tank from a Yamaha Virago 535.
Can I do this same procedure?
Forgive my bad English, please.
Has no one ever heard of 3M adhesive remover? Been using it for 40 years. Works like a dream.
