  • Great color!!! I mean it.Thx for your vid.

  • My ex-wife came with saddlebags too, but her excess baggage is a topic not relative to a cycling vid.

  • Hey Night.  this is the first time I've heard you mention you had a wife.  I've only seen your 1 car and the motorcycles, and you've mentioned your "friend" Sally.  does your wife not ride?  Not trying to be nosey or anything.  I'm trying to get my wife into riding, but she has never been on a bike, so we are scheduled for a MSF course next month together.  Then we can go and buy his/her bikes together.  BTW, love your vids!  Keep it up.  MA is so different from KY.

  • Ah, maybe that's what's causing the pain between my shoulders on my Vegas…

  • i drove a xc victory and bought it!!! Wow love it!!!

  • The Judge was nicer. .. Just sayin' ..

  • I watched a couple of your videos since they came up as I searched for XC videos.  I have a 2013 XC Sunset Red. I think the handlebars need to be more straight.  I also am a short person.  Just shows you, everyone is different.  I drove the new Judge. I liked it, they made it more comfortable. But it didn't like any wet surface. I hit a small puddle and the backend wanted to slide out. The XC does not have that issue. I want to try the new Gunner.

  • Absolutely a must have. Complete road comfort for long trips. Cheers! Fred.

  • put, put, put, put, put, put…..

  • WhenI had a Goldwing. The reverse gear spoils you.

  • What did you record this video with cam and mic wise?  Excellent audio/video quality!!

  • The quietest bike known to man is a Honda Goldwing. Everybody knows that!

  • Funny.  Stock Harley bars used to feel awkward to me.  Long arms, reasonably wide shoulders.  After enjoying my Triumph Rocket's spread out bars, stock Harley bars felt like being in Economy on a plane, with my elbows crushed into my ribs and my wrists in an awkward position.  That's why some guys with Harleys, put "beach" bars on them; to spread things out.  Of course, "beach" bars don't work for shorter guys with shorter arms, because when they have to make a sharper turn, they can't reach the outside handle anymore.  I thought the Chieftain was one of the most comfortable bikes, out of the box, that I've ever ridden.  The bars are not curved back to far, but neither are they out as far as the "beach" bars.

  • Personally I prefer flatter bars, but admittedly I have long arms very big hands.
Arguably most Harley Davidson's are ergonomically designed for folks at or under the 5'10" mark. Their grips are also designs for people with much smaller hands, or so would seem.
Some how their lay out often attracts bigger riders?
I never could figure this out, aside from the aesthetics of the Harley machines they are very high maintenance ( by their own suggested schedule), most have uncomfortable seats, short hand grips, little room between knees and handle bars, often alarming ground clearance and jolting suspension travel, but every other man has at least one?
More confusing is resale value. In any other market, supply and demand determines price and or value. In motorcycles, there are more available Harley Davidson products for sale new or used than any other marque. Nearly three times more than any all other brands combined, and people are still paying top dollar?
I do not particularly like the Victory handle bar much either, however it does have better sized grips and all their bikes have seating that is friendly to people my size or larger while offering seating and control options to those who are smaller.

  • What kind of microphone, camera, setup are you using?

  • I bought a Cross country tour and love it!!! Love the leg room, the way it handles,I love The power, and for the quiet thing >I had stage one kit installed , Now still not loud enough for some guys and gals but for me, it will do.. Ho did i mention the color ? BRONZ MIST or as you called it ? Road poo? LOL Its Ok you did a grate job.. Thanks

  • For me the perfect handlebar has the pointing down at the ground at an almost 45 degree angle.  If you pause this video when there is a clear shot of both hands ( 01:30 ) they're fairly straight outward.  My ideal bar would be similar to these but the part of the handlebar that curves back inward towards the fairing would be about 4 or 5 inches higher than they are now.  Then, they would curve downward and slightly back toward you (but not too much, just a little, not like a wheel barrow).  If you close your eyes and  pretend there are handlebars in front of you, that's probably where you want them to actually be on your bike.  You really want as little twisting or bending of your shoulders and wrists as possible.  It makes for one heck of a better ride.  When you have bars that are straight across like a broomstick, it rotates your shoulders in an unnatural way and your comfort doesn't last very long on trips.

  • I bought a Ice blue Victory Cross country 2012. Stage one exhaust loved it just loud enough to be heard and didn't need ear plugs on a long trip like my fat boy!! Very comfortable!! Very reliable!! Wife made me sell after a couple years!! Had to go out and buy another this spring,,again loving it!! it's white not my favorite color but all the goodies i wanted i got on this one and more!! Best bike i have ever had!! You can Knock Victory all you want, but you can't beat a Victory!! It'll be the last bike i own i unfortunately can't afford a Chieftain and our summers are too short here in Canada anyway!! Cheers!!! I put ape hangers on my fatboy by the way and had to pop pain killers to make any long rides!! You may look cool with big bars but your arms fall asleep and hurt like HELL!! on long Hauls it"s not fun!! Believe Me!!!

  • I just picked up a new Gunner about 2 months ago, and except for the quietness level, i absolutely love it. the bars are perfect and im pretty short (5'6" with my boots on) but i have a shoulder width of about 2 feet. just installed lloydz timing wheel and quarter turn throttle today as well as a back seat (back seat was much needed with the extra power she is putying out). everyone is built different and prefers different riding styles so there will never be a perfect set of bars out there, there will only be just right for you.

  • I prefer dirt bike type handle bars on a street bike

  • Bitch all you want I have had 2 Cross Countrys great bikes Had a Harley Fat Boy 2001 got tired of spending a $hit load of $$ keeping it on the road and when it left me on the side of the road!!TWICE!! i thought it was time to trade it in on a reliable bike!!

  • wanted to hear about the victory, not your damn handle bars

  • Yes my boardwalk bars suck but look cool but why not just buy some bars and have them installed
