Morgo Triumph 750 “issues”. Smoothing clutch adjustment, FIX YOUR RIDE! 3/10?
Fix Your Ride is…
Fix, build and design things to last whether a looker or a racer it’s your ___!
Like those old UK reporters, I’ll be riding the bikes hard that are reviewed and be honest and straight forward.
Safety first best to have return customers or get home intact?

Walridge motors was sighted as the supplier of new parts for this $8000 plus rip off, I have found very little “new” stuff. Like them selling a rip-off valve design that I developed and sell but with cheap neoprene which will swell and mix with gas. The carb kits that came with this may be from Mike at Walridge and are the .90 chinese made type that are sold to you for $5.+ Who’s laughing and also “helping” keep brit bikes running? Maybe the more crap dealers sell the more you will need to buy? 28 years buying British stuff and trust me their service is aimed at big wallets to empty.

I only noticed that the builder could only find 2 of the 3 stock clutch spring nuts and springs when 1 was hanging up the spring on adjustment. Looking further a quick trip to the dental drill and the springs are uniform again and I ponder searching for a 3rd matching adjuster nut as it is older and it’s spring dint has vanished. How much on a pricey custom is 3 frigging new clutch nuts and screws? I have the paper trail including emails so believe me this Episode is going to be brutal for some to watch. This bike’s gear will match it’s looks come hell or high water. It’s a Morgo 750 it deserves it and so does the owner.
The majority of British bike service people are great and will usually offer good advice on things to do that are better done by the rider to save money. Just ask, can’t hurt and if you get “It’s British” ask how much faith in these bikes do they have? That is a traditional book worm type not wrencher cop-out unless it is in jest and the problem or challenge is easily met by service. Like having to clean up burrs on springs that were stamped out and cut fast at Triumph.

Look for a mechanic or fellow rider with but passion and faith, most want you riding for a lifetime. It makes the new parts more possible too not just repo asian made cat lenses I mean. I have helped repair over 10 bikes on weekends this year and this was the final straw for well paid “service” job victims, I won’t do things I cannot be sure will not cause issues to distract a rider. I also got stumped by a “trusted” changed ownership shop on a valve job I did right in 3 days once I questioned their skill and checked the last thing. You see over the years I have been at the end of the stick many new vintage bike owners sometimes find themselves in when taking a vested intrest persons opinion on cost. This talk will offend only those that benefit from this cycle of selling and service and lack of simple explanations.

I tried it and others before having to buy Viton which still will swell with new additives if not kept moving as on a daily or weekly rider as tested. Simple common sense, this was a “daily” rider bike ready to go?
Werd.

should be a good bike to go with that morgo kit.
@roadrocket
Yes it sounds as the bore is good had it warmed up before the part 5 victory to come. It is a Mark 2, thinking the head is maybe a 32mm, the 30mm seem fine. We will strip those while the air filters are on way. I can make the lexan end covers while I wait too, then we will see the mix and valve/guide & inlet condition running. You can use high tech these days to further see what only R&D labs at bike factories could do with little cost 20 years ago these days.

Not literally but more the excess use of it all over the bike and outside the required surfaces. I shine one side but never glob in grease like this not for years and I am a hack. For such a clean bike you can see there are a few bandaids for me to bodge correctly or better at least. The shakedown ride will be fun,
@deans67pala
Move along 4 wheeler Impala dude, how many vids you post wise guy?
Unhelpful waste of time.
Put up something better, you need far more help than youboob has to offer. LOL!
wrap the threads in ptfe tape…
shut off the damn music the next time you decide to record an instructional video. please!
Hey there. Are you running a Duplex Primary on this machine? Or am I mistaken?
The tappet adjuster holes have the correct copper washer with the rubber sandwich.What you think is a ridge is the seam of the crushed washer.The threaded plug is normally very lightly tightened due to it lacking much thread.Overtighten and it snaps the head off.As another comment says,use ptfe tape on the threads.it works great
sounds like fun, enjoy the old bike.
For fucks sake, turn down the music when recording…
Couldn't watch with that background music.
the springs are supposed to bind on the nuts lol thats wat stops them rattling loose and out of adjustment
Long time 441.You still doing vids.Do you still have the 441.Bought a house out in the woods.I finally have a garage to work in the bike now.Will be working on the bike this winter.
Barnett cable and alloy pressure plate is way to go.
Unwatchable.
