India’s First ELectric Sport Bike #Achhe Din

Emflux Motors a Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler startup, is all set to launch India’s first-ever electric superbike, the Model 1. The Emflux Model 1 will compete against motorcycles in the 600-650cc segment. It is expected to be priced between Rs 5-6 lakh (ex-showroom) and could make its debut at the 2018 Auto Expo in February. Reports have also indicated that the Model 1 will be a faired superbike. In terms of performance, the Model 1 can sprint from zero to 100kmph in a mere 3 seconds! It’s claimed to have a top speed of 200kmph too. The Model 1 will be equipped with a liquid-cooled AC induction motor capable of producing 68PS of power and 84Nm of torque which is available from the start. Samsung has developed the lithium-ion battery for this electric superbike, which helps it in getting a range of 200km.
