I like it.. The flakes killed it..
You guys are all dicks! This guy is trying to show people his work and give people ideas. He's obviously not going for perfection, he outlined everything by freehand and isn't going to cry over lines not matching perfectly. He did a good job! Everybody has their own opinions but don't be rude about what he has done just because you "know better" or think its lame. He's not doing a professional how to video that needs to be followed step by step, just showing how he did it and the outcome. Simply educational and entertainment. It's crazy how many rude people there are. I'm sure everybody here has done something wrong or improper but we aren't perfect so just chill.
No hair or body protection:-))). This is a joke!
Not bad. I don't mind this.
good job…then set it on the ground
all you need now is a professional garage with all the expensive equipment. Choice of music is purely down to your taste preference of course. No trolls I jest, this is not a comment displayed in malice thanks.
nice paint job few things why no paint suit and why not mix metallic in the paint say you want a glass finish how would you polish without destroying the flakes
I can se, the one painting never done it before..
(sarcasm, he makes it look so easy. he has done it atleast 4 times 😉
Not trying to be an ass but seems like a lot of wasted paint you could've done the silver then masked it and sprayed the orange because we all know tape and newspaper is cheaper than paint
nice!
Where did you get the pin stripe
Could u do this with rattle cans?
I think my motorcycle was painted by this guy(no joke) the styling of the two tone is the same as well as pin striping that looks the same. All I can say is: multiple bad runs in the clear (one goes from one end of the seat cowl to the other)
What type of making tape did you use
Man fuck all these haters who have something negative to say about the paint job, the one's who are spittin negative vibes are the ones who can't hit there armpits with a deodorant can. I bet you a $100 to $1 every last one of them tride your method because it was simple and straight to the point, applying the orange first then putting in the graphics was smarter than painting it silver then having to use a lot of masking tape and paper to cover everything . Some people can be real Dicks and like someone else said all you need now is your ow shop there are a lot of people who will pay you good money for a job like that and for the people who think it cap YOU POST SOME OF THE BULLSHIT YOU PAINTED AND LET SOME SEE HOW GOOD OR FUCKED UP IT IS.
What size flake did you use you remember?
where is the picture of the bike reassembled?
looks good
Thx this really helped 😉
Good job man !!
Where can we get the fine tape?
Orange flake was a GREAT idea! Looks awesome on video I can only imagine in person
Loving that orange peel -.-
You guys not bother with sanding steps? 400/800/1200 grain wet and dry??
what is the flake u use
what is the flake u use
Where are you located? How much for that?
the line up of those points of the stripes were terrible … I'd be mad and not pay for that
Hello guys what is the tape that uses to make the custom surface?
Bad Ass!!
WooooW so big good big big LIKE 😀
what kind of paint?
so dope man!! would this outcome be the same with spray cans or would i need a proper paint gun and stuff?
good job man, i am from brazil , natal rn
to save on orange paint why wouldn't u do it the other way round? cover in silver then mask off and spray the little bits in orange?
Dont you need to polish the clearcoat?
It looks really nice.
what type of paint specifically is this? I'm looking to paint soon and can't decide which brand I want. I'm on a budget.
how did you made outer lines black?
Great Job !
do a paint job then put all the parts on the floor to get scratched ?
for the flxible parts, do you need special paint ?
I'd let him paint mine. not a bad job. some people don't have 2k to pay for a paint job. I painted mine with rustoleum. and the funny thing is that it looks great going 150
To give it a little extra style….? Hummmm… OK! In reality most guys do it because its tricky to get clean lines. However you did use the right tape so maybe you got lucky. Good work all around though. You can tell a good painter by the way he/she triggers the gun. Folks who continually stop the air stream don't know what they are doing. Looks like it has heavy peel – you might want to consider using a good HVLP touch up gun as you will use ALOT less material and atomization will be much much better plus you can do edges much easier and reach up from the bottom to do low trim lines like the tank you couldn't get to the bottom of. Obviously the video is 5 years old so if you are still doing this stuff you may have progressed.
