@ Jaffar Sadik. The exhaust will make little difference to fuel consumption , mainly sound so choose based on the sound you want,
Very nice review. Greetings from Poland 🙂
I had in 1954/55Â what was then called a350 sports bullet and even up today I have never seen one exactly the same there is allways some small difference like the shape of the air box etc allways regreted trading it in for a velocette Viper scrambler
Many thanks for this review. Â I have 3 Enfields. Cheers
Awesome and genuine review. Great effort.
Wonderful review! Â Unlikely as a new rider I will ever find such a bike in my area but it has always been the classic bike I have on my imaginary list of great motorcycles. Â Thank you!
Its a nice review Royal enfield Bullet 350 is already available in the Philippines you may call me at 09175690494
its very thrilling to ride the new thunderbird 500 u ? please do make a review abou it so the others can enjoy
Royal Enfield can be defined as 'All Fart & No shit'
Exclusively designed for empty headed Ego maniacs
Hello Sir my self Mahesh from Chennai, i just saw your video and what ever you said is very precise and to the point, As you mentioned several times Bullet is not a bike for racing but its to feel the real driving pleasure. I do own a Royal enfield Bullet electrs 5S which is also a cast iron engine model, but mine is a 2010 model & it slightly varies from your standard one. Its a righ side break & left sided gear system with no neutral finder but has got disk break in front which is actually effective for this bike.I really enjoyed your video.
Perfect review by an expert
will you please help me to find a powerful exhaust for RE classic 500 which I will get a loud sound
@Shervin S Lenin
You won't get a particularly noticeable power increase on the RE regardless of what you do short of Engine work to modify and lighten components, they're not a fast bike.
However, any exhaust with a minimal baffle straight through design like a Triumph Thruxton reverse cone style silencer or one of the Hitchcock stock style straight through replacements will give a much meatier sound and coupled with a rejet of the carb will rev a bit more cleanly
I bought my 1st Royal Enfield – classic 500 two weeks before ……. since then i dont know why I feels like to ride it all day alone(even in my dream)… i am really falling in love with the Machine!
Great review and insight. I was sat on e-bay a few nights ago…a little worse for wear… and before I knew it I had put a bid in for a 1976 350cc with sidecar :-D… low and behold my offer was accepted. oh jeez was my first reaction…Then horror what have I done… but after your review and the more I think about it… It could be quite fun…All be it very slow fun.. It's coming from India..Be a while yet.. So I am trying to learn all I can.
Very nice review, Thanks
very informative…..
The good old before 2007 models looks a perfect Brit motorcycle.
The new UCE model has a different logo on tank made of Aluminium metal, while old one look like it has paint on it.
can u tell what fuel economy does the cast iron engine has compared to UCE engine. (UCE std 350 gives 42 Kmpl).
over engineered
well i think so r i would not own one
its not for the nija turtle riders those japanese bike riders
its a good bike
I'm sure this is just a Standard BULLET 350 & not a Classic one…
I changed the stock 24mm mikarb throttle slide to a richer throttle cutaway version that was available though Hitchcocks. Also changed the long US version muffler to the original short version. Much cleaner acceleration with no flat spots or hesitation. Have over 17000 miles and runs better than new with no work needed other than normal maintenance. The 350 once sorted out is a reliable bike and in my opinion better than the 500.
Piece of Junk! This company should be folded down. Retro Design? My Ass!
Fantastic review, so good, in fact, that I just bought a 2001 Bullett 350 in immaculate condition!! I'm forever in your debt!!
A very well made and informative video.    I have just bought a restored 1976 Bullet with a rocket sidecar in India, should have it in about six weeks with any luck,. I can hardly wait 🙂
Hello there,,, I was wondering if you plz upload ignition timing and point seting vdo if you still owe bull 350,,, thx
Boring
what u fixed in front wheel
this one is export model , not for India
hello … is it possible to convert the 4 speed gear box into a 5 speed one?
I think a lot of us forget that owning / riding one of of these dinosaurs allows us a glimpse into a motorcycling past that would otherwise not exist or would be restricted to the privileged elite that use them as ornaments to adorn their Architects offices and trendy City wine bars.
I celebrate this much maligned machine, as much for its imperfections as for its charm and character and feel grateful that we, the masses, are still able to enjoy classic motorcycling readily, cheaply and authentically – without having to pay through the nose for the privilege.
If we ever wanted to travel back in time to experience the sight, smell and noise of motorcycling for the masses – then here it is – all for the price of a knackered Fiesta.
All power to the Bullet – it is not perfect but it never pretended that it was!
Excellent video by the way.
Will.
