Cheap Custom Motorcycle Project | KZ400 Tracker Build | PART 1
I was able to pick up 2, 1975 KZ400 bikes locally for $300! Both seem to have everything other than a few minor bits and pieces, but they’re both in pretty good shape. I’m planning on taking one to a full-on custom street tracker / café racer / scrambler bike.
Plans include a full engine rebuild, updated electronics, gutting the frame, and a custom seat. Other than that, it’ll pretty much remain 99% original as far as running gear and seating position. Might actually make it a bit more “scrambler” than “tracker” but we’ll see!

About time you were working on a bike, this gives you no excuse to stroke each other seductively at stop lights.
I'm pretty excited about this
