This and the new Fat Boy are the only 2 I like the style of. A little disappointed in the others looks. Which are subjective. Just not feeling it. I am in fact fine with the whole change thing. Like I said before better is better.
personally, it looks like the design group at Harley gets high while playing in the parts bins. you know, taking a bong hit while uttering the words "hey man, what if we." wow, hope the kids like this. desperation on two wheels here brother. and the "PRICES"?! That price sheet is laughable. If I ever buy another Harley I will definitely get a Sportster and customize the shit out of it. I loved my Dyna but it was simply too slow. Lots of sound and fury signifying nothing.
I guess it's ok looking, maybe my fav so far. So my real questions are, how fast is it, how does it handle, and .. did I already ask how fast it is?
I have a 2017 Fat BOB and I love the piss out of it. I picked the Fatty because it is one of the best handling Harley's out there. That being said, every old school, old man, Harley rider I know hates the new Fat BOB, and are pissed the DYNA has been killed off. I think what they don't get is that Harley isn't trying to sell them on the bike. Harley is trying desperately to bring in new riders to the Harley brand. Their customer base is getting old and dying off. The new kids want performance, and tech. I think Harley is going in the right direction.

I can't believe the size of the gas tank! Why go under 4 gallons with a 114 size motor! That seems to be it's only shortcoming.
I have only had to harley davidsons in my life which was a 2002 1200 sportster & 107ci street glide special. And i will say that when you are riding any motorcycle anyone can say you don't need a huge motorcycle engine to enjoy riding one because as long as you change the oil in all the holes you won't run them out, i had 130k on my 1200 sportster before my 2017 street glide with no engine work other than 1 clutch pack replacement with my.
Love it. I'd swap out the tank for a larger unit and put one of the riser clamp LCD speedometers on it.

Hey Dan, I have a 2016 Fat Bob and love it, but I have to admit, I really like the look of the 2018. I think the chassis change is a step in the right direction, and although Harley fans are disappointed that they eliminated the Dyna, I believe we should give it a chance. The only complaint I have, is the fact that they reduced the size of the gas tank. Anytime you reduce distance, you eliminate customers. I would have considered trading in my bike for the new engine, handling and looks, but I would rather be riding, than hanging out at the gas station.

Think he is getting confused with the PRIMARY drive Chain, the FINAL drive is belt .
Its an awesome bike, was planning to switch my storm for a Ducati but now its def the Bob…..think the fuel tank should have been bigger though …… also any details on the version with the screaming eagle package with a 117 motor?
I'd have to spend sooo mucho money on it to get the look l want , that I'm priced out……
