1986 Norton Wankel motorcycle

Ahead of its time or a failure? Only 100 "Classic machines" with this Wankel engine were produced. As early as 1924, professor Felix Wankel designed this engine type. It took him 30 years to produce the first, working prototype. Even Suzuki, VanVeen and DKW tried to produce a couple of models with the Wankel engine.
