What A Cool Place For Learning 2017 Milwaukee Eight Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special
Wanted to thank the Dr. James A. Forrest Career and Technology Center for letting me film this. This school provides 24 fields that high school students can learn information and skills from. This place has everything.
The Carpentry class built a shed as a project for their class, and did an awesome job. The Electrical Wiring class added all the power to it. Kudos to all of you.

That is absolutely outstanding. What a great opportunity for the students to leave high school with a true foundation to build a career on. That is forward thinking and congratulations to the teachers and people who made that a reality. Definitely a 'man cave' ….now…gettin it home…??…hmm.
When I was a young lad in high school (no old man jokes, please) we had "trade" schools. You were either college prep or you took a trade. I believe most school systems have gotten away from trade schools. Not every kid is college material, and there is no shame in that. We've brainwashed our youth into thinking they are inadequate if they don't earn a college degree. So often times kids go to college to earn a useless degree they can't use while racking up thousands in college debt. Sorry for the long post, buddy. Some things just piss me off. Good video.
What an awesome school. More like that needed. The more tickets the better. My son went through a similar program. Set him up for a good career. He is now back at school picking up his second ticket. Those 'kids' did a great job. Cheers
get it setup like a man cave and the bike in the middle and a bed on the loft so when the wife gets mad you can camp out hahaha Very Nice Take Care
My head hurts from all this learning man, PS- Can I live in the shed? You won't even know I'm there, except for the occasional yelling DICK now and then
Very nice. I'm needing a shed. I wonder if thy would consider building one and shipping it to Smyrna? lol
That's an awesome facility! We had some trade classes in my HS, metal working, carpentry, automotive. We build sheds like that and sold them, made rafters, nothing cheap. Good times back then. I can stick two pieces of metal together, know my way around carpentry tools and can fix my own engines (most of the time)….I assume they still those in HS, my son graduated in…2009 and he took some similar classes.
Wow i love that plane 🙂 03:17
Need more kids entering the trade field, too much computers and games, ask the next young person if they know what a callus is ???…Same with Stoney , we had woodworking class in school. Look, make it a "Man Cave" have the students cut a hole for a room air conditioner, big screen tv, sofa, refrig. full of beer, BBQ pit right outside .man what a life ..LOL.
Those kids did a good job, but they pulled a fast one on you. They built you a tiny house. All that's missing is some insulation and drywall.
Good stuff!
Like the music, very positive, upbeat
and inspirational.
Awesome shed! Probably nicer than some houses? I can see why you like that road!
That a huge diversity of skills. Nice.
Great build and great experience for those kids! Now, how are you going to get it to your home? Like! rsmf…
Man cave sounds good! Hahahahah!
Amazing place indeed! The world needs more of these!
And surely a cool bunch of young people working on this project!
Awesome job!
What a brill school, and I love that shed
Looks like a nice variety of trades in the school, The kids did a great job on the shed 🙂
Looks really cool and an important venue for kids to learn a trade. rsmf
very cool for kids to start on something for their future
I'm surprised I could recognize the school just by the thumbnail. The Forrest Center is great, I need to go visit my old teacher there.
Oh, and as a former TV Video Production student at that school – I bet the film kids would love if you shared this footage with them at the next school year. One of the projects in that program is to make a promo for the class, and a seven minute Tech Center commercial to show at the high schools. Speaking from experience, it can be hard to get good footage when classes are going on. Just some food for thought.
The younger generation needs more of this……every high school should have something like that! Love it. That's one heck of a man cave!
If those kids can build a shed that good, they're set for life. Learn a trade and you'll never look back, even if you don't stay on the tools forever. Awesome school, and you got a great shed. How many bikes could you fit in there ?
Very Cool Place! 😎 Fantastic Video! Thanks For Sharing My Friend!
Hello!
There are plenty interesting things.
I tried it fun!
Are you using gimbals for the camera?
Your videos are stable without blurring.
That's excellent!
Thank you (^^) v
Wow! With all the power and lights and storage, I'd ask if they could include a bigger door and make it my bike maintenance and repair shop. That is just about 15 times more room than I have in my garage to work on mine. Looks great.
Looks like a fun place to study!
What an awesome job! Those kids know how to build better then I know of people that has been building for years. Great vlog also!
great job bro
That dummy looked like Bob Barker.
