Victory Motorcycle Tranny Cover Disassembly. Shifter replacement.
Victory Motorcycle Transmission Cover Dis-assembly. Shifter replacement.
Shifting issues occurring. Sometime not up-shifting. Tapping the shifter laterally with my foot caused all to work ok. Victory said I needed to replace the spring ratchet on the gear shifter that attached to the star wheel. Hopefully this will work. Replaced the gasket as well.

Thanks for the video. I'm doing mine next week. Can u tell me the torque settings on the primary cover?
what a dick head ,
This video was very helpful for me. My shifter arm broke off just inside the primary cover. Thanks for helping
Thanks – loved the video, would have liked more detail on some stuff, but thanks for posting it!
I wanted to share that I used your video to get my Primary Cover off and he sure helped.
However, there is one line that I wish you would haven't of said.
You don't need to drain the oil.
DRAIN YOUR OIL For the love of God, Drain your oil!
I had probably 2-3 QUARTS (not cups) spill all over my garage floor. Such a mess and could have been prevented if I would have drained the oil before.
It was my mistake. I went the lazy route and I now regret that!
Just wanted to give that piece of advice.
Otherwise, great video. Got that cover off in no time!
I have been tolded that replacing a clutch plates on a victory jackpot is not easy.
Removing primary cover etc. There is no u tube video
How did you get the clutch rod back in at exactly 15 degrees and how did you re-install the shifter you're replacing. It moves and swivels so how did you line it up before putting the case back on?? pictures would be great! Thanks
do you have a video showing how to change the shifter ratchet assy and associated parts?
