Royal Enfield Gearbox Assembly.
Whilst I admire your enterprise in attempting to show the correct assembly of the Inter gbox, there are some issues:- The splined bush for the layshaft, together with the small gear & the kickstart gear, should all be a tight push fit on the layshaft. The splines on either your layshaft, or gears, or both are worn. Your method of fitting the layshaft & gear cluster is therefore only workable with loose fitting splines.
The selector fork (H33) & its pivot pin should already be fitted before attempting gear assembly.
The usual method of fitting, is for the layshaft with all four gears & the splined bush assembled, together with the mainshaft twin sliding gears & Operator fork (H34) all in one piece, offer up so the mainshaft gear slots onto the mainshaft. Keeping the Operator fork located between both sets of sliding twin gears, engage the pins on the H34 fork with the slots on the H33 selector fork. It is necessary to lower the layshaft a little to engage in the fork, then lift it up again and at the same time turning the layshaft to wriggle thru the layshaft dogs. A fiddly job, gets easier with practice.
Also, the Inter gbox uses no gaskets on its mating faces.
