Indian is the only reason I'm looking at a bike.
Someone thought having an indian interview the pres of Indian was funny… Bad Idea
indianception
once they took on Indian, victory became the red headed stepchild… no improvements, they don't even advertise the victory vision! same boring radios. but Indian gets all the new tech…
bought a 2016 Scout, haven't stopped smiling yet!
yes you can clearly see the president of Polaris motorcycles it's not a biker at all he's in it for the the money and that's it. and this right here proves as soon as they got Indian they didn't care at all about victory. I'm pretty sure that everyone buying these Indians are old timers the 57 Chevy crowd I call them usually between 60 and 70 years old maybe with the exception of the Scout. this is why most us Victory lovers only give Indian five years till they're out of business because those guys will be so old by then they won't even be able to ride and as we all know Polaris only cares about bottom line they're not a real heavyweight hardcore Motorcycle company like Harley-Davidson they don't believe in it or have the passion
Wish Polaris all the best but better sell a boat load before all us old folks are gone. Youngsters today just aren't in to these behemoths. Chief Can't hold a candle to the Magnum in appearance. Chasing a niche market that is shrinking is a mistake Polaris already made with the Vision. Scrap the slingshot before it's an anchor around your wallet. Harley has finally dumped that twin cam nightmare in favor of the new Milwaukee eight that has probably brought them closer in reliability so Polaris with that two valve 3 cam engine is already behind. While iconic brand names do sell motorcycles to "bikers" regardless of product quality (ie: Harley), True knowledgeable Motorcycle enthusiasts are not as easily impressed with folklore.
I own a 2014 cross country tour, and If Polaris stopped making Victory bikes after 18 years because they wanted double digit stock returns each quarter, I would not trust them to continue the Indian brand
Thank you for the Scout models both are a compatible and very convenient ride to novice and expert class, I truly believe aftermarket products to enhance the performance or simply include a leather bag for the consumer will be an advantage to your recommendation and organization. This is the correct direction in step. Thanks
