New 2014 Indian Motorcycle Sneak Peek
Watch as we reveal how Indian Motorcycle continues to honor our past and power the road ahead, with the 2014 launch of the legendary Indian Chief. Widely recognized by motorcycling riders around the world as one of the most iconic motorcycles ever produced, the power and heritage of this beautiful new bike will be available at a price point that is competitive and more accessible to riders who have been anticipating this addition of authenticity and choice to American motorcycles.
The all-new 2014 Indian Chief, starting at $18,999 will be revealed at the 73rd annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota, which runs August 5-11, 2013. Specific details on the launch timing will be announced this summer. Sturgis, the world’s largest motorcycle rally, was started in 1936 by an Indian Motorcycle club, the Jackpine Gypsies. Indian Motorcycle is honored to be back in the motorcycle community and make the brand’s launch part of the Sturgis experience.

a bunch of hates
Mmk so why now would I want this rather than a Harley?
Damn, I live these bikes. I need one next to my Road Glide Custom!
WOW~
印第安摩托車復活了!!!
The HD…right?
I couldn't agree more! Myself, I'd like to see Scout being made again in one form or another. Maybe even try something bold like have it with a hand shifter like the original.
Um, you do realize that H-D is #1 with young adults in the US by a huge margin, don't you Lord Samuel? Go check. Peace.
You buy an new Twin Cam Harley and you have a bike that runs way too hot, has a pressed crank that needs to be sent away for service when the rods need attention, crank bearings that need to be changed around 35K or you may get metal shards throughout the motor because HD chose an inferior bearing, and you paid far too much for it. I'm buying a new Indian and never looking back.
you are wrong here mate, this engine is actually a S&S X-Wedge with slightly changed camshafts drive. This is actually a really good engine. I love Harley but you should not bash something you dont know.
this is not true, month ago I made some upgrade work on a TC88 of a 1%er which had over 50k miles of hard riding under the hood. The bearings are like new and the crank shaft run out was good for gear cams. Is the S&S engine better solution? Hell yes, is Harley solution enough for the task given? Hell yes! I mean stock TC engine has no problem with pressed crank in general. There are some "Monday" pieces in every brand of motorcycle, but in general TC is good engine.
Let us keep things in mind, that this Indian does not have the heritage, Polaris buys a name, build a look a like of the old bikes, but that is it, there is NO connection with the original Indians. Just marketing 101!
"Bash"? I said it looks blah aesthetically. Which it does.
What the hell is a "marketing lawyer"?
HD's R+D it seems…
Um…. I'm pretty sure you don't know what a lawyer is…
…nor your understanding of marketing.
You say that you don't understand my understanding of marketing. I'm not surprised. I'm sure what you don't understand could fill a warehouse. However, what you need to focus on here is what a lawyer is and there is no such thing as a "marketing lawyer" because marketing law does not exist as an area of legal practice. Did you want to try again?
There's a Dick in every Thread. Thanks for being it.
Congratulations Einstein: GOOGLE Marketing Law.
Now STFU Already.
I think you are getting ahead of yourself. This is simply the first model from Indian. Polars JUST bought them, you can't expect a full range of motorcycles instantly. Polaris has said they want Indian to be a full range brand. So chill your horses and wait.
Also, Harley, even though I don't care for cruisers, has been one of the best selling and growing motorcycle brands despite the dying baby boomer demographic. Lots of young riders are buying them. But no, they can't afford a $20k Indian now.

enjoy it!
I've never been called a Thread before. I'm pretty sure you don't know what a lawyer or a thread is. Stay in school, kid. You're going to need it.
Yup. It's a thread… Maybe your grandkids can help you w/ the "new" lingo after they are done setting up your facebook page and iPhone.
What's the soup tonight in the old folks home? Matzoh ball so you can gum it? -fool-
Nice bikes but unfortunately for them Moto Guzzi beat them to their own future game with the new California 1400 – just as technologically advanced but with a more state of the art cruiser design. I was at the Sturgis debut. Indian must of spent 1.5 million on the set-up – lights, cameras, spotlights and 50+ of staff to put it together. You will be paying for that too. It was 600K alone to shut down the street which ruined sales for vendors for two days on Main St. Complements of Polaris!
Old is new again. Hope they live up to the name.
You are referencing Facebook and iPhones as 'new'. Perhaps that is why you haven't figured out how to upload an avatar ;)
whats the name of the song ??
