Enough power to bust loose at the on-ramp, that's for sure.
Matt, what happened to Old Dirty Biker?? That sh** was hilarious. Keep it up man. Cagers and power rangers? Priceless!!
loved the sound of the m8. sounded refined and well built. the bars on that bike are just bitchin too. didnt think therewould be much of a difference between the two, keep up the great work. i learn a lot from all your videos. thanks man
Love this guy videos….keep up the great work Matt ..👍🤘
My 20 year old Evo will spank that modern day overpriced POS, AND ITS PAID FOR!!
Nice. Dropping the hammer! Aftermarket cam with the stage 4 will smarten that up real good.
Nice video Matt, I have a 2016 street glide special with the tire shredder kit and I love it
Some say the oldest HD dealership in the US!
I'd go the twin cam all day long
Hello Matt,
I just wanted to thank you for all the highly detailed reviews this past year.
I am considering buying a Softail in the near future. Do you have a email where I can contact you directly? Thank you and have a Merry Christmas!
20k+ harley + 10+k in performance parts, still slower than a 15+ year old beat 600cc sport bike
fags
Thanks for making such informative and interesting tubes. I love my 115th FLHTK-ANV, but at the same time don’t think these bikes are made to race. Although my original Milwaukee 8 gives me enough power to ride around 110 mph on hwy easily, it’s HP is nothing compared to such racing monster bikes as ZX14, which I used to own for a few years. This is coz whatever modifications you make on your HD’s engine, its body, frame, and style is not designed to accelerate like an aerodynamic sport bike. I love my Harley coz it’s a super comfy bike and it roars like a lion. And that’s all about it
a guy at my work bought a copper(?) looking one but the black just looks so much better despite being a bitch to keep clean.
Man you can’t call them Harley no more
This video was missing something… Oh yeah it's the "What's up guys Matt Laidlaw here" line. Shame
Great video guys…. as always!!!! Have a great Christmas!! 😎
Now thats how you do a video comparison
Matt, great practical comparison. Twin cam held it's own nicely vs all the marketing of the M8 supremacy.
How about a comparison of the same type of bikes stock?
What handlebars were on the bike you rode? They seemed pretty cool…
Thanks and keep up the good work!
Matt:
Thank you for the great videos and insights not to mention responding to all the questions. You don't have to but you do. For those that disagree or have other opinions share them as they are valuable as well. Just do so with respect and some class it you want to be taken seriously. there is a bike, upgrade and good and bad experiences. If you can't go to the another site and waste your time there.
Great Video. I own a 2016 CVO StreetGlide with the Twin Cooled 110 Twin Cam that is upgraded with a Stage 1. It's dyno'd at 96 horsepower, and 110 lbs of torque at the rear wheel. I will be bumping it up with the 117 kit soon. Should produce great results! 👍😎
that's too bad, the day looked sunny and fine and yet you caught a cloud on your tachometer at 8:10 🙂
Hi Matt, to check how tall is the wingshield on the 2017
glad I found this video, my 18 limited is coming in soon and have been anxious as to how this m8 will compare with my 16 limited. Seems that the twin cams make more power at lower rpm than the m8. So the stage iv is out seems like it would be a waste of money. Matt what are your thoughts on the m8 with stage 2 and a good tune. The twin cam I have now has 98.75 hwpr and 121 tourque with 585 cams, fuelsac headpipe ,super tuner and screaming eagle springs and lifters. Can't seem to find any numbers like this on m8. Yes numbers are numbers, but what are your thoughts.
Did the kit come with the high horsepower Stage II (#92500047 ), or the high toque Stage II (92500058)? It looks like you have the high HP kit, which would explain the 110 TC's better low end performance.
Best YouTube roll-on demo of two hard hitting V-twins I've ever seen. At 74 years old I've done this sort of thing since the late 1950's and I take my hat off to you guys. Road looked a little crowded to be turning up the wick on those things but hey, you got to remember I was doing this sort of thing back when there wasn't much traffic anywhere ! Wish I could have been able to read your tachs while you ran them thru the gears. Once again, great demonstration of two strong motors. Makes me wish I was young again!
