The books are coming faster than I can read them!!
WHAT I LIKE BEST , JAY IS JUST GOOD PEOPLE.
IF YOU DONT LIKE HIM YOUR NUTS LOL
Jay when are you going to syndicate this program??? Is it on TV yet? If not it should! Thanks Jay you are the best!!!
The books that he has been recommending. Are very good. I would love to experience Bonneville someday. That would be very interesting.
Thanks Jay.
Thanks Jay , waiting for more.
+Jay Leno – I'm experiencing withdrawal symptons! Could you PLEASE start these +Jay Leno's Garage videos with about 10 minutes of monologue? Thanks! ;-)
if anyone buys it, make sure you get it autographed.
Great book review, thanks Jay!
What I like best about this show is Jay, the genuine car nut. He is enthusiastic about anything that rolls. He invites interesting people and cars most of us will never see, and shares the wonderful cars and bikes he restores. Watching this is like visiting with an old friend.
That was interesting Jay , I enjoyed it very much , thanks for posting !
Great Idea on the book club…congrats Peter on your feature, I've seen your work many times.
Thanks Jay and Peter. It is truly the final frontier of auto racing.
Mike
Best channel ever!
My problem is My car goes faster then the body starts lifting off the ground. If it had wings it would fly. been there. done that.
DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING—–IT'S GREAT THE WAY IT IS—–JAY—-YOU NEED TO RUN AT BONNEVILLE —IF YOU NEED A 74 YEAR OLD DRIVER–I'M YOUR MAN ! CHAINSAWBOB
I like the idea of the book club, can't afford the prices, what ever happen to your Damiler restoration?
85$ is way to much for that book.tops maybe 40$
Jay should profile more old hot rods since he has an affinity for old engines like flatheads and the retro stuff has been making a resurgence for a while now.
Listen jay, just bcuz you aren't on tv is no reason to stop tweeting. Lots going on. Gave Fallon a chance. He sucks. Meyers is better but he kinda sucks too. Now I'm flipping through kimmel Conan and furgason. Kimmel is probably the best out of those but he's monotone. I even give arsenio a chance. Good seeing you pop in. Why don't you get on realtime with bill maher? Are you going to turn this garge thing into a tv show with reviews and tips and showcases? …
Could you remove the country restrictions from this video.
"The uploader has not made this video available in your country." (France) I hope this is just a one-time thing.
Reminder: Le Mans – June 14, Le Mans Classic (historic) – July 4.
I live fairly close to the salt flats but hardly ever hear about any promotions for the speed runs. If I am willing to drive to Wendover for a concert you bet I would show to watch some salt flat trials. My guess is that things happen fast and it is on a need to know basis, crowds are probably discouraged. The builders and the racers on the salt flats have all of the guts and get none of the glory, race on; faster is better.
Ok…love jay's channel. let's get that out of the way…but watching to two old guys sitting around talking about pictures in a book I can't see?
will jay be going to the geneva auto show?
Just ordered this book… yet another great video Jay. How about a video about the trucks (pick ups) in your collection.
Video is available now in France. Thanks.
Jay, thank you very much. It was an honor, and I enjoyed the experience. And, thanks for the directions while I was trying to find my way back to the hotel.
Jay You are Doing This very well and Really like this show of yours keep it up.
this guy is the ansel adams of auto photography
I think it is hot that Jay comes out here. I am proud of Gay Jay!
I've only driven fast two times in my life. I was driving the highway that goes thru the salt flats in Utah. So, just for fun I cranked up my 2004 Ford Focus to 100 mph.
When I was 10 years old my mom drove our 1957 Buick Roadmaster Convertible well over 100 mph. That Buick could really move.
Thanks Jay for all of your nice videos. I'm a big fan.
I am NOT interested in this
I trust the worlds fastest Indian by Burt Munro gets a mention which will please our Kiwi friends.
TUFF UTE say"s LOVE YAR WORK JAY
What I like about the Channel is that most of the people are everyday people, and Jays shoes. I even have a pair like those. Thumbs up!
Whats the name that is at the bottom? Sorry 4 my english
Just reviewed in the New York Times http://www.nytimes.com/2014/06/01/automobiles/reviews-of-seven-automotive-books.html?hp
American Honda built the Honda Hawk, turbo-charged 2 engine (750 + 750) streamliner about 1970 or 71, Paid the bucks to get the salt to themselves (for good reason), hired a well educated driver with no experience to drive the thing and went for the record. It fell over after just a few feet. Repeat with the same result; several times. After a lot of body work and bondo some egghead discovered there was no rake on the front steering (required for a motorcycle). They contacted record holder Don Vesco and bought a Yamaha streamliner from him, cut the front suspension off and welded it to the Honda. It didn't fall over any more! I was also there to see the Blue Flame run 1 year previous). The team Honda hired to work on this plus their snowmobile program all came from Michigan and had worked on the Blue Flame (4-wheeler). Too bad nobody on the team caught the front steering geometry problem before fabrication started. I guess that's what happen when a college grad and a computer design important machinery.
