Allan comes across a few vintage Jawa motorcycles. Not only is the owner a collector but he also worked at the Jawa factory when these bikes were built.
I have the same motorcycle as the first shown. It's Jawa-ČZ 250, type 353. Mine is from year 1957. It's awesome runner, never let me down, basicly the best I could ever have! ;)
I had a Jawa 350 and the gear changer pedal was also the kickstarter and also when you put it into gear the pedal was like a clutch so you didn't have to use the hand clutch when changing gears, when you take your foot off the pedal it went into the gear you selected and when you press it down, it went into a neutral area out of gear. I had a sidecar on my bike and it was good for emergency stops where you just press both pedals and the hand brake
I had a 1953 Earl´s Court show model 250cc Jawa. Loved it. Then in 1975, I bought a Jawa California 350cc twin. Loved that also. Both models brand new. Happy days!!
My friend George Janecek , Is a family member of the Founder , He is at my home for a few days, He told me he has 2 of the JAWA bikes he brought from the Cz republic .
We hold rallies in the UK for Jawa & CZ motorcycles. I know someone personally who's cruised happily in the fast lane of the motorway at 70 MPH on a 1950 Jawa 250 Model 11 and it happily did this for mile after mile.
I have 15 motorcycles of which only 1 isn't a Jawa or CZ….. and a Babetta 215 moped for short trips.
Petr, My father was a tool and die maker as well at Jawa and Metaz. I just imported his motorcycle here to Canada. I think there is a possibility you may know each other. Please get a hold of me, in English or Czech, as I would like to find out more information. Thanks
I owned a 350 in the early 1970s.Nice comfortable ride and solid reliability. Not fast but 60mph cruising with 75 max and 90mpg. Flexible engine with a broad power band spoiled only by smokey exhaust.I made many journeys to Germany and around UK plus being my ride to work bike.Eventually swapped it for a 500 Honda but if i'm honest I prefered the Jawa.
Nice, But the seat color is not matched
THE color is 100% correct.
I want to buy this model motorcycle.
STUNNING!
Just GORGEOUS!
That tandem seat is great its first correct seat colour what I see (real skin maybe)

A Perak is a Perak …is a Perak … None of the 250 bikes can even hold a candle to that bike … arguably, Aesthetically the best 250 Jawa EVER made
