  • i have the stage 1 and the vance and hines turn downs…..will i notice much of a difference in the stage 2 performance cams ????? power wise and sound ? thx

  • @J Humbolt I like the sound and improved throttle response a lot. I feel like the torque curve is moved to the left, and the power comes on sooner. No offense but I doubt your ultra was quicker with the same mods, the HD stock is about 20hp shy of a stock Indian.

I feel the biggest gains come when you put the fuel controllers on these bikes and get a real tune done on a Dyno. The fuel mapping on these bikes stock is the biggest power hindrance.

    Good luck to ya!

  • That sounds sweet. I have the Freedom Performance true duals (fish tails), plus the PC 5 already installed on my '14 Chieftain, which already sounds great. I'm planning to have the high flow air cleaner, and the stage 2 cams installed this Spring (late March/early April). My ride is quietly tucked away in my garage for the Winter. I live in NYC, and I can't for the warm weather.

  • so I have seen a few other videos with the stage 2 Cams, but not all of them had that "potato" idle like this one. Has anyone experienced that or is it just me? This is what I want mine to sound like which is why I ask. Didn't know if some were tuned to NOT have that sound? Or is it just the brand of exhaust changing the backpressure? Some of the videos I've seen sound like they still have their baffles in, so maybe thats it? Sorry, kind of new to the world of Indian. (Pick up my Chieftain Dark Horse in a week)
