The rear axle wheel have to be free wheeling to turn on corners

Awesome bar hopper my friend. Where did you get the plans, and what's the distance?
A simple way to get the back wheels to work independent is to make one wheel free wheeling on its own bearing.
This will make it drive on one wheel only and break on one wheel only.
So you really need front brake as well.And have motor cutoff switch
so when you apply break the motor stops driving.

With the exception of the air ride part, I think it's way cool!!! A limited slip differential would be a nice added touch but I think that they might be pricey.

Hey I can see that you have put a lot of work into your trike. As for the rear end all you need is for the axel to be live to the wheel that has the sproket on . So what you need to do is if you have a Cotter key or a key on each side take one side off and it will help you out a ton ! Good luck with your project and check out the rear end !
