Ducati 900 Racer IOM TT
In the history of Ducati, the second of June 1978 is a historical date. This was the day when the nine-fold world champion Mike Hailwood won the Tourist Trophy on a Ducati 900 SS on the legendary Isle of Man. In the world’s most difficult road race, ‘Mike the Bike’ beat Phil Read on his Honda, which put him in a position to celebrate a magnificent comeback – following his withdrawal from racing in 1967. This was to be Mike’s last major win on the Isle of Man. 42 years after his triumph, this race has remained vivid in the memories of all Mike Hailwood and Ducati fans.
