  • Awayse good to do the oil change ,Life of a vehicle, motorcycles…I change mine every 3l miles or so. maybe alittle more sometimes..Peace Dell and Penny

  • so I shouldn't eat that dirty corner of my butty that's left because I couldn't be bothered to wash my hands? lmao I'm joking ha ha honest, or am I?

  • Your Tiger looks so good, in shiny mode they just look bulbous and not very nice ! I'm inspired and on the look out for one…just one worry …plastic tank and ethenol in petrol …so many tanks are pock marked now from it . (KTMs the same) Have you had any problems ?
Is there a sealer for plastic tanks that you know of ? My steamer Tiger so far is ok but is used a lot ,so fresh top grade petrol frequently. PS mine takes a 190 rear tyre and clears all the bits easily….it was on when I got it.

  • News update: Black bobbles have been seen on roads in the uk, some say they are from UFO's.They have been identified as FRO's.

  • You ever do a +1 oil change on the Harley ?
I had a '97 (Evolution) Dyna Wide Glide for 10 years.
So the oil change involves leaving the oil filter off ! Filling the crank case as normal. Starting the bike and flushing out the dirty oil that still inhabits the engine. Once the oil runs clean you top up the crankcase, Install the new filter and you are good to go.
Amazing how you think your bike runs better with 100% clean oil.
Mess ? Well once you fabricate a drain tray there is no more mess than a regular oil change.

    Cheers from Canada

  • thanks for the great vids. I had a Triumph TBS a few years back and I am looking at getting a 2006 Tiger with 22k miles on it. Your videos on maintenance are great I know what to look for when it comes to the 24k service. I am curious how many miles are on yours now and if you have had any issues with it. I love the triples I hope I can get another one soon.

  • Hmmm…never heard the removing of the rubber seal trick, but I've always put a good coat of fresh oil on it before installing the filter. I never install a filter with tools either, just hand tight. Will definitely give your method of 1/2 turn past seated a try on the next change! I've never heard that, but seems like a good measure!

  • On the clean hands thing. An old steam engineer that I knew gave me this tip:
Before you work with dirty engine oil, scratch a bar of soap with each of your fingernails, so that some gets under them, then get to work.
Because soap is water soluble only, It will stay there stopping the black oil outlining your fingers until you next wash in water. It saves a load of scrubbing and works better than most barrier creams.

  • bout time the rat got somemore rattage been too long i miss the old bandit

  • Hey how are you doing? i have one question for you, what is you take in reusable metal oil filters? i have seen some for about $90 USD that claim to filter oil better than a paper one and last a life time.

  • del need to replace engine oil pressure switch can you help paul ps thanks

  • Penny, dont let Del cook for you. That pastry looked mingin ;O

  • Once had to drive a nine inch nail through a filter (to get some purchase) as some clown had made use of a breaker bar to tighten it on. Sometimes you just want to slap previous owners.

  • Great video as usual Del. I didn't see any plates on your wall from Michigan. I would love to send you one from my bike if you like. I also have become a fan of Feast of Friends Band thanks to your videos! Keep up the great work.

  • Great things and new content from the new garage! Onwards and upwards as they say. The Street fighter project is coming along very nicely. I am glad to see that the General is still on Parade!

  • does anyone know about harley codes? I have a 2014 harley sporster I added some speakers and install HID headlight about 3 months ago, no problem till now , some code popped up , the engine and red electrical light come out only when the engine is hot. and when they do it cancels the trim horn and turn signals and the speedometer goes crazy. codes are uoooo1. canbu fail, uo140 lost comun. w/ ecm. uo 141 lost comun. w/ bcm. and b2137 low beam shorted output. . im not sures if the codes popped up because of the add ons or for other reazons, I cleared the codes but after one or two days keep comong back. does anyone know what might be causing these problems??

  • I watch you videos like EastEnders every week, I made a tail tidy from some scrap stainless for my 03 R1 because you inspired me.. how about an hour show a week with questions after your main video… love your video's

  • I change oil on my 125 religiously. Even being chinese bike and me screaming its bollocks off non stop the engine runs like it came out of the factory. I am rebuilding a cb250n at the moment and I can see it had scarce oil changes in its life because there is 2mm missing from the cam lobes. Its only 47k miles and it shouldn't need a new cam shaft at that stage. But that is what you get for being lazy.

  • Another excellent vid Del and Penny x
