I've had state boys yank me over for high bars and for welded-construction bars. If you're going to ride on the street/highway, check your state's laws regarding handlebar height. Yeah, handlebar laws blow, but you've always got some bug-wit who's always pushing the limits when it comes to building a safe chop or bobber. I've been building these things since the mid-Sixties (I've been hassled by all kinds of law-enforcement types for riding a chopper, as well).
