Cafe Racer (Norton Commando by Kim Boyle)
(Legendado em Português)
6 years, is a long time to build a cafe racer.
And this was the time needed to finish this Norton Commando.
It was built by Kim Boyle, owner of “Boyle Custom Moto”
There is absolutely no exaggeration on this Cafe Racer.
It has the kind of features, that define elegance.
Enjoy.

A gorgeous production. You capture the beauty of a motorcycle. The beauty that only a motorcyclist understands. Watching this after a day on the bike gave me a moment. Moments are all we have. Thank you.
The riding position of the guy looks very uncomfortable.
Beautiful bike. I always have inspiration overload when I watch your videos… Thanks for taking the time to make and share… OBR
Always inspire fellow moto enthusiast my dream is to have a carabella cafe racer
Another superb choice of cafe racer, thankyou. Keep 'em coming 😉
beautiful craftsmanship.
6 years…..thats alot…..but im not saying its "too much" ….. Stunning little bike.
what a masterpiece
so simple yet elegant and beautiful
Beautiful bike. Iconic.
wow !!!! one of the most beautiful Norton , you are right everything it is in complete balance , elegant and aggressive at the same time , thx a lot for sharing , i can not wait for the next video !!! thx again !!
I am writing only for the second time: to praise your excellent work week after week would get monotonous. This bike was something special, though, and it made for a very special video as well. Thank you for your time, your effort, your sweat and your passion! Thank you for expanding my world, refining my taste!
I liked very much this video. And also its intelligent script.
I rebuilt a Norton Commando 850 mark 2A with my brother for two years. Unfortunately it was stolen. I have yet to find another motorcycle to match it so it was heart warming to see this straight forward approach to such a wonderful machine. These motorcycles live and breath with the heart of the people who made them – the English engineers and in this case Kim Boyle. Even the frame at 3.07 is a masterpiece in simplicity and function that was so memorable. Lovely to see work going towards one of the finer efforts of man's endeavours. If only more men had the innate sense to appreciate the return from these simple works. Thanks so much. Thomas.
Valeu bem a pena esperar…
Obrigado pelo vídeo.
I just wanted to leave some feedback on your entire channel..
This channel is by far the best channel I have ever come across. I'm honoured to hit that subscribe and be on this journey of cafe racers.
Thank you again from
Melbourne, Australia.
Only one word: Uaauuuuuuuuu
Great Job, Kim Boyle.
ciao, sono tornato, fantastica Norton
You know what would have made this build perfect. Firestone tires too bad. ._.
750 Commando's rule! 🙂
I had a 1969 750SS Norton with dual upswept exhausts to the left, would have enjoyed doing something similar – how I miss my Norton, in spite of oil leaks and plenty of upkeep. Nowadays these engines can be refined to state of the art no oil leak performance..if only I had the patience to wait this long.. Your videos are awesome and inspiring! Keep up the good work!
no air filters, open cones, and no rear fender …………………
very nice racer bike
Reminds me of the Kenny Dreer Norton that the new Norton's got styled like. Nice build on this one and wheelie!
I like cafe racer bike bro because I have classic motor cycle bro.
left side exhaust killed this deal….just my opinion…
This has fabulous elements – the tank and seat are works of Art – but Man, I have a huge problem with these guys who build bikes, without any respect for correct engineering of exhaust systems! That system CAN'T breath properly, compared with a Dunstall system from 'back in the day': it's just going to be Loud, and Hot – the exact opposite of real efficiency. High-performance motorcycles are supposed to be Fast – not just 'Cool'…
Impressive aluminium work – real craftsmanship.
mind boggling! wow
beautiful:-)
The 18 inch Akront rims laced up with ten gauge spokes really makes the Norton look just right. Very nice nicely done!
