BSA SR500
Interestingly the brand BSA – Birmingham Small Arms popped up a few years ago, selling new BSA “Goldstars” that were assembled from some Yamaha and some british parts. It used a dual-downtube frame with SR500 wheels and drums it ran a SR500 engine which was built in Japan by Daytona, It had a number of displacement sizes available, some up to 600cc with twin-spark big fin heads. There’s not too much information about these around, but they do pop up on Yahoo Japan auctions from time to time. If you know any more, get in touch. If my dog has pups in a stable it does not make them horses. I love my DB32 as much as my XT500. But to me this just devalues both brands. Thats just my two penath!
This is the declaration of complete bankruptcy. Maybe this guy is not aware that for example the last of the B50s had gone over the table for next to nothing. It was more or less a give-away. While the japs month later anounced a bike as a "rebirth" of the glorious B50. Same game with the lies with the XS650 against Triumph Tiger/Bonneville. Who ever rode both of them will confirm that the XS is crap against the Triumph. This company is the death of proud BSA Bikes. Shame on you!
