    Hi, have just viewed your restoration of C11G – very interesting. But I am wondering why the tank was finished with the yellow(?) colour when it was originally chrome. Back in the late '50s early 60's I purchased two c11g's and both had chrome tanks which I think the one you restored also had.

    Anyway, good to see these old machines being put back on the road again. I would very much like to own one again but the cost prevents it.
