Racing to a second place finish, his best of the 2012 season, which along with three third place finishes placed him 5th overall in Moto2. He holds the current record for youngest Motorcycle Grand Prix winner, taking the 2008 British 125cc GP victory at Donington Park at 15 years, 170 days.
