You and 650ib need to hit that dual vlog man.
I would buy the shit out of Chinese wheels
The Laptop I'm watching you one was likely made in China! I think the Chinese markets are now recognizing the demand for thier parts and products. They are taking steps to make quality parts.
hows the yellow on the bike been since you bought them? have they faded any?
it depends on how much the company having their product produced wish to spend on manufacturing.
Hey if you like old cemeteries you should check up tinkers creek
The OEM wheels on the new Yamaha R3 say "Made In China" right on them.
Even you buy US, they are also made in china.
I just watched this on a Chinese built iPad with no problems lol. If you swap the wheels yourself you should make a video how to. I'm curious how easy/difficult it is to swap wheels/tires on a sport bike. Thanks
Not planning on buying any wheels but love watching your videos of the street views of my native Ohio. Keep 'em coming!
Motorcycle rims can come in the form of steel or aluminum. Steel is just fine and can be of stock which is heavier than racing grade that's lighter. Aluminum rims are lighter than steel and can range from standard aluminum and aircraft grade aluminum witch is lighter, stronger and more expensive depending on construction grade.
The factories in China build per the specs they are given. Depends on who gave them the specs. You are correct on the leather suits and stuff being made there but they are following quality specs. But then again who knows where the oem wheels are made lol.
Jim Dunlop went down from a wheel failure during a race…maybe the could be ultrasonic my tested before using them for any imperfections… I have looked into this… So lol my eBay name is cbrMotocruzer… And I have a sketchy wheelie video on a 900rr search my name use it in a video pleaseeeee?
Hey I just looked and the previous comment was about Jim Dunlop there is a good video about the Dunlop's on here
FYI – I canceled my order on the chinese wheels. The ebay seller put false advertisement on his listing, stating the wheels were coming from a US warehouse when in fact they were not. I canceled the sale and was refunded. I found a sick deal on a set on brand new OEM wheels for $1,000 shipped straight from Honda. Also, I'm not willing to be a test dummy for a $500 savings. lol However, I believe the chinese wheels would work just fine, but it's nice to remove any doubt. lol I'll do an update video on this…..
Yeah I look for used oem wheels you can make alot work on a 900rr I have a vtr1000 rear and a 954 front wheel
hey cruza i got a unrelated question im 6'3 and im looking for a bike would a honda 600rr do the trick?
I got my Chinese wheel. Im going to mount it up and and go for a test drive. Is there a way to post pics? I took comparison pictures of the differences between the Chinese and OEM wheels. Sad enough to say either I bought the bike with cheep aftermarket wheels already or kawasaki uses a cheep casted wheel already. Overall not to much of a difference based on looks. I would say the biggest difference could be what they used to cast the wheel. Even the bearings didn't feel bad. Let me know where I can post the comparison pictures.
5 tons is 10000 pounds that is a shit ton that is work truck weight
cycle Cruza AStars and Dainesse are made in Romania not China :)
I keep seeing comments about the poor quality of Chinese metals and craftsmanship. I worked for an American company doing industrial iron and steel work for about a decade and we sourced most of our metal from China. I never saw any difference in the quality between American metal and Chinese metal personally. I really do think most of the cost difference is due to the lower manufacturing and labor costs. Additionally, they don't recognize American patents or copyrights, so they can produce the same basic parts without the proprietary cost increase. Always do your research of course, and ride safe no matter where you buy your parts. Keep up the good work man!
Hello . I really like your vÃdeos, and because of you im thinking to try vloging. thank for the inspiration. but i fell sorry for you because you have to ride behind the cars in traffic jam. Thank god were i live cars move over. sorry for english. Have a nice day and
keep up the excelent vloging.
I'm Hong kongese. your opinion is neutral. but anyway, I will never put Chinese brand wheels on my bike!!!
car has 4, 1 fail you still have 3. Motorcycle only have 2 and no cage. If that stuff fails you might finally get a F up day. I do not mine Chinese for cosmetics, but things critical to safety like gloves. I do not know. Use to have some fake gloves and decided to get rid of them and go Scorpion when I saw the Chinese gloves crack and all what was supposed to be fiberglass was just printed paper. LOL Got some Chinese boots that look like Sidi and they okay.
4:00???? Wtf????
my 2013 ford focus have chinese rims, the stock rims
stopped watching after " cuz you know on a car i'd be concerned (4 points of contact plus the anti death cage) but on a bike…" "Also, I'm not willing to be a test dummy…" Clearly you said you was willing to be one. hmmm….
it's good to support America. Expensive but still the right choice.
How is this lad still alive.
what car weighs 5 tons?
nice job going straight from a turn only lane.
i have been to wheels factory in China, if the factory is already supplying wheels to US or Europe companies then their products should be ok, because the US importer usually will test those wheel at a US lab (Smither) for DOT testing, and if the test fail, factory will be notified and fine tune their production with either stronger material or production procedures.
Chinese wheels are cheaper because the US importer is always pushing for lower price, and they dont have union there. And if the factory sell directly on ebay then it should be 1/3 or 1/2 the price of retail.
I've bought chinese shit without knowing it was chinese shit and it was total garbage. Don't buy chinese shit especially if your life depends on it working proper.
Awesome video, check out my channel if you ever get the chance
Chinese motorcycle brand like wonjue are really reliable for a chinese brand, their motorcycles are powered by suzuki engines..
FYI – Here are gold or matte black aftermarket wheels for 2012-2014 CBR1000rr from amazon (Safe buying):
Get Gold or matte Black Front Wheel for CBR1000rr: http://amzn.to/1rZbLbZ
Get Gold or Matte Black Rear Wheel for CBR1000rr: http://amzn.to/1UUJj6M
the anti chinese marketing is just so people dont buy from them. they have good and bad stuff just like any country.
UPDATE: I got these wheels instead: https://youtu.be/f3Ah-v3SSe8
CHIIIINEEEEZZZEeeee SCOOTAESSS
The differance is when quality brands manufacturing takes place in China they have stringent quality control standards among other thibgs where as knock offs couldn't give one fuck.
no offense to Chinese out there but your life is on the line with these wheels, man. i will never buy fuckin Chinese wheels ever. I don't care what you all say but i need to protect my own life. fuck Chinese wheels man or u really gonna have a FUCKED UP DAY!!!
Lol this guy is funny, I have Chinese fairings on my 636 they do fit like OEM, wouldn't mess with wheels. Yo we only have 2 wheels bite the bullet and get Marchachini forged wheels!
Just as an update got my Chinese wheel installed and about 600 ish miles on it… works great i would deffintly buy another. That being said the one I got is DOT approved. Fit was perfect.
The fact that you had a Chinese scooter with Chinese wheels was a really good example. And like you said, I'd say about 80 to 90% of the things I have in my house are all made in China. Including the computer I'm using right now!
You got any Chineseeeee spare wheels?
if you pay for the more expensive China made parts they are top notch in finish and quality.
Dude in the black SUV at the beginning is a dick.
What are your thoughts on owning a motorcycle in college? I live about four hours from school and I go to school at the beach. I would love to just be able to cruise the city, but the traffic is really heavy. I'm also concerned about the cost of upkeep. My dad has ridden for almost 40 years and those are the only reasons that he's against it.
I used to ride a 50cc Chinese scooter, I hated it so much…I took the mag class so I can get something faster. I figured if I get a motorcycle license I could buy a 150 or 200. My scooter kept breaking down every couple of months(especially the tires).
