Awesomeness!
You seem to have about the same engine mods as me. I too have a 612 with an Ace Fireball head, belt primary and racing clutch. I've got a few videos on my youtube channel. I'm just uploading a quick test of my new gopro and chest harness as I write. Not the best video. Need to move the gopro higher on my chest for the next one.
The speedo is a gps unit.
It is accurate when it catches up but its needle response time is VERY slow.
You will see sometimes the needle is still climbing as I have already backed off the throttle.
But it is still better than my original unit, that was about 40 kph out.
Top speed is around 150 kph and it cruises comfortably at 120 to 130 kph.
Sounds wonderful. I have a 67 Bullet with a 612. It has an Amal 932 concentric carb. I am going to go the Ace Fireball route soon. How is your clutch holding up.
Beautiful agile engine, power wise reminds me of my DRZ 400 which I used mostly for green lanes. I love British singles and the response of your bike is just what I am looking for. I have read that power upgrades can cause some difficulties to the set up of the unit. Any problems to be wary of? Love the bars you're using, looks to be a good riding position. Thanks for an enjoyable video
Also I notice that your brake pedal is on the right, which model is this bike?
Excellent ! Bit quicker than my old 500. Lovely roads and weather too. (usual dull winter in the UK)
Lucky boy !
your mirror doesn't look like they vibrate to much. was it the engine work, let me no because I want one so bad i'm just bad when it come's hand vibrations, it took a crap load of mod's but my Harley softail is smoother then my old rubber mounted harley motor was. MUST GET A SINGLE ROYAL ENFEILD
can you tell me where you got the tacho and how you connected it please
what part of australia are you in ?
