About Us
Bikes n Customs was created by Cass Castle with the help of Spalding web design company, Web Centre Plus. The idea behind this website was to bring together like mined people interested in Harley Davidson motorcycles, custom choppers and good old British bikes, although all bikes and bikers are more than welcome to join in and get involved.
We will provide daily updates of news, videos and articles plus we have a members area and a free classifieds section that you can use for free.
The day my love of motorcycles began
I first got into bikes at a very early age, my Dad had a combo but I was too young to appreciate that but when my uncle took me for a ride on his scooter when I was about 7 or 8 years old I was totally hooked. From that day forward all I wanted was my own bike, lucky for me we lived in the country and had access to a lot of dirt tracks and fields so I got my first bike just before I was 12 years old.
Mostly old British bikes, BSA’s and Triumphs with my first road legal bike being a BSA Baracuda, then a BSA Road Rocket then at just 17 I bought a new Triumph Bonneville. In May 2012 I bought my dream bike, a Harley Davidson Fatboy.
What is the best thing about riding your motorbike? Maybe that’s a question no one can really answer, it’s just one of those things that can’t be explained, you have to live it to understand I guess.
Personally, I will use any excuse for a ride out and that’s certainly the same for most bikers.
There are a lot of different kinds of bikes but for me it’s choppers and other custom bikes, Harley Davidsons and good old british bikes, but each to their own I guess, a bike is a bike and they all offer a sense of freedom and escape.
We will be adding a few pics and info from different runs and will soon have a feature where you can join and upload your own pics and info yourself so stay tuned for more on this.
