1980 Ducati 900 Mike Hailwood motorcycle replica

After Mike Hailwood’s stunning victory in the Isle of Man in 1978 with Sports Motorcycle Ducati, the factory produced a replica in memory of the winner bike. It was based on the 900 SS model and became Ducati’s best-seller in the 80’s. Almost 7,000 bikes were sold in 1979-86. In the last years the engine was 1,000 cc and equipped with electric start.

Efter Mike Hailwoods fantastiska seger på Isle of Man 1978 med Sports Motorcycle Ducati tog fabriken fram en replika av tävlingshojen till minne.
