1942 Indian Motorcycle – Army Model 841

http://history-of-inventions.blogspot.com/ This WWII bike was build in early 1942 through a single government contract for 1000 bikes. The “Model 841” has Indian’s first footshift-handclutch and is a shaft-drive only machine. On display at the San Diego Automotive museum in Balboa Park.
