1932, Hyogo HMC 1500cc | Japan 🇯🇵

In the mid 30s, Japan had its own way of developing of transport industry: instead of heavy truck manufacturing (that’s what the majority of the countries have chosen), it directed all of its resources to the production of cargo tricycles. By 1936, there were three clear leaders in this field — Daihatsu, Mazda and New Era.

The HMC (Hyogo Motors Company) wasn’t among the top three companies, but was a well-known motorcycle manufacturer in its own region. In 1932 it introduced the Hyogo tricycle that was equipped with a motor which design was based on the famous MAG engine (the same engines were used in Motosacoche motorcycles).

The HMC motorcycle from the Motorworld collection is equipped with a 1500 cc overhead valve, four-stroke, double-cylinder, V-type engine with capacity of 29 h.p.
