Triumph Legend motorcycle crash Uptown Whittier
That’s my buddy on the 1999 Triumph Legend 900. He’s a new rider and just got his bike back from the shop. We strapped a GoPro Hero2 on him (using the chest mount) to record his ride. The seating position (and possibly his height) gave us a low point of view with the chest mount.
That’s my brother-in-law on the 2009 Suzuki GSX-R 750 and me on the 2012 Ducati Hypermotard 796.

More of a drop than a crash, but it sucks regardless. Glad everyone was okay.
How emberrasing
Ya this guy needs to learn how to drive in traffic. He's all over the place.
how did you ever walk away from such a crash?
Tell him to use his feet lol.
And don't ride above your skill level!
Man that is a sweet looking triumph.
Oh man, it JUST had to happen at the busiest intersection in Uptown….
oh man thats embarrassing
Don't you fuckers know how to stagger when group riding like that?…Should have a tow truck following y'all!!!
We were riding staggered, at a stop there's room for two side by side, that's normal for groups rides. The person on the left takes off first then the person on the right. You can clearly see that at the very start. But I guess you know that since you know all the group riding rules.
Obviously the new guy in the center has much to learn. That was his first ride with us, as we can see he's not great at following instructions.
Oh and I prefer taco trucks following us, thanks!!!
if the engine was not blown you got lucky. some of these triples suck oil into the cylinders if the bike runs on its side for more than a few seconds.. my guess is that it was oil that was on the ground..
I have a spare brand new gear lever if you still need one?
No he fixed it and sold it already, thank you anyways.
Tiger 885i is/was the only model affected. The old Hinkley tripple is not affected, nor were other 885 models.
mdr tétait saoul?
mdr non!
As a biker I tend to weave when I get bored, but was he doing that or did he not know how to balance it??
what this vid does show is three mates all on totally different bikes riding together, brilliant, that's what biking is all about
That is way too much bike for a brand new rider
1. This person need to be in a parking lot and not a busy street
2. This person is no where near ready to ride with other bikes in formation
3. Like i said before, a 900 Legend is not for a beginner rider even if stock
4. You guys should have instructed him HOW to ride in a formation. You do not ride with a new rider 3 wide!
