  • Hi Stuart
Never thought of a cover like Oxford stretch for the bike , I just put a old sheet over it ?.
The oxford cover is a great idea the bike lives in a large shed when not being used .
Thanks for that one, keep it up Stuart
Looking forward to your pay day project .
    Regards
    Paul

Looking forward to your pay day on the t100

  • I have a garage and have always used a flannel sheet, but I may reconsider. Their indoor cover looks well made and is priced right. They have a US website 🙂

  • HELLO STUART …. nice indoor cover sir !!! I bought the r&g one a few months ago

  • I need to buy myself a replacement indoor cover, my bike is always getting covered with sawdust and wood chips from my other hobby. Thank you for sharing yours!

  • Nice looking covers, the indoor was starting to give me a semi. :))

  • Looks like an excellent cover for sure. I use a "Harley" cover for my HD 1200T (keep my Goose V7II in my house). I cannot fit both my bikes in the foyer in my house, sigh. It has recently gotten cold and even snowed here twice this month already (it is snowing now as I type this, sigh). I keep a battery tender on the HD since it sits outside. It is times like this that I wish Al Gore was right about Global Warming and not just an excuse/scam for him and the rest of his Cult to earn millions upon millions of dollars. Oh well.
I am seriously thinking of possibly riding across Europe next summer but wonder how much it would cost to ship one of my nbikes over and back here at the finish. Would like to travel around Eastern Europe in particular (including Poland). The only worry among many other things, is that I realize that I would not be allowed to carry a firearm on me to protect myself against tthe Islamic Hordes that have invaded and are terrorizing (raping, murdering and worse) Europe. I quess I could start in Great Britain and take the tunnel to the continent ?  We could meet for a spot of tea and crumpets or a pint of Ale and a Leg Of Lamb, haha   🙂

  • Really liking that indoor stretch cover Stuart…. what a great idea. Love the materials and breathability factor….. Thx for sharing something I certainly had never considered before.

  • Hi  Stuart, the first thing I bought after getting my T120 back in July was a Protex Stretch dust cover, over here in Spain dust is a big problem and even thought he bike is kept clean, dust appears from nowhere. The biggest problem seems to be static electricity attracting dust, especially on the plastic front mudguard and side panels,  but my Oxford Protex cover, bought on Amazon, does help, still waiting to see if it keeps the condensation at bay. Good video. Morgan

  • Great video Stuart (love getting caught with the hose-pipe!). I don't have a garage so like Paul Ongley my T120 lives in a purpose bought large shed. I have insulated it and taken great pains to make sure it is weatherproofed but it's still a shed. In the warmer months the bike is fine but come winter when not riding I have the pre-runner to the Stormex. I had considered the indoor cover but being in a wooden structure I wanted something a little thicker and protective. I've had my Oxford cover for a about five years and this is the third bike it is covered. In the spring I put it into the washing machine on a very low temp and add some water-proofer. Hang it out to dry on the line and then store back in the case. After five years it is still in great condition. Looking forward to Wed' video sir. All the best …..

  • Sorry to say Stuart but I shall never ever buy another Oxford product. Bought a hjc is17 helmet (Oxford are the importers ) at a bike show, which literally fell apart after about I week . Oxford products customer service is the an absolute discrace. The could have not cared less . I had to threaten to take legal action before getting my money back . They left me without a helmet for most of the summer. I SHALL NEVER BUY AN OXFORD PRODUCT EVER AGAIN.

  • I do fancy that indoor cover, need to pick one up.

  • One of these indoor covers is definitely on my shopping list, so thanks for the low down Stuart. BTW I've now bought the Optimate 6, and currently working my way through charging all my leisure batteries. Not used it on the RT yet (she gets ridden once a week which I suspect keeps her charged). The '6' IMHO seems a sensible choice for the biker who has a number of needs for charging eg cars, caravan, electric fence etc. I'll be posting a review on my Back2TheBike channel when I've got some longer-term feedback. Not up to your 'Spielberg-esqe' filming standards though 😉

  • Hi Stuart: As a new T120 owner, I have enjoyed your entertaining and very informative videos. I am just getting back into riding after an extended absence (25 years)and have been reacquainting myself with some of the basic maintenance tasks. One topic I would be interested in seeing you cover for the T120, would be tire pressure maintenance. Trying to get a pressure gauge or air hose chuck in between the T120 spokes has been a challenge. Any future plans to discuss a good way to do that? I'm thinking that there has to be an easier way to get air into the tires other than bending the hose into the center of the rim. If not, maybe an evaluation of valve stem extenders and recommendation for pressure gauges that are accurate? Apologies if you have already covered that topic and I missed it. Regards!
