Thanks for the vid, one of the best sounds ever!!
The engine capacity of the rotarys was always in question as there are several ways you can measure the CC..
ROTARY!
i like rx7, and rx3. i think a rx3 with a new model renesis in her, would be a sleeper from hell.

Bridgeport…omg I WANT
Since I have a hard time beginning to fathom the sound of the rotary in league with how it works… I fear I will need to purchase an RX7 for in-depth comprehension of this matter. I hope my spouse will understand.
Very cool
Omg!! Thank youuu, my dream for someone to make a rotary motorcycle is actually a thing! Lmao xD
The rotary Norton was only ever 588cc. There really is no argument. The chamber at its largest is 294cc in capacity and there are two rotary chambers, hence 588cc. The fact that it has three firing strokes per revolution of the rotor cannot be taken into consideration. The capacity of a four stroke engine is measure in exactly the same manner as a two stroke engine, ie bore x stroke x number of cylinders. So a 500cc four stroke four is the same as a two stroke 500cc four, except that each cylinder fires once per four revolutions, whereas a two stroke fires once every two revolutions. The rotary Norton fired three times per revolution of each rotor – totally efficient apart from the lubrication worked on the two stroke principle so the oil was burned within the mixture and the environmentalists didn't like smoke, apart from the shit they put down their lungs from their roll ups, that didn't count. Assholes.
ayth einai mhxanh!
I think that was the beginning of a long and expensive love affair i love the Rotary's music now i just gotta learn exactly how one works!!!i gotta ruff idea but this vid just solidified my interest!!!
Sounds Freakin Nice! Theres Nothing Like The Wankle!!

I saw the Nortons race at Snetterton in Norfolk. It must have been in the late 1980s. Fearsome power! They sounded absolutely thrilling but the best thing for me was the six foot flames from the exhaust and seeing the pipe glowing red inside as they powered round Coram.
Being a Norton don't you have to shoot the cuffs before you start it lol!
