Very nice video clip. Very acurate and nicely done!
Come over to Germany and i spend you a beer!
@rony4652 si eso parece, pero esa es una de las diferencias entre la max y la super max que si los tiene como usted dice
ademas de que la max es "monoshock" un compensador central y la supermax tiene dos compensadores traseros.
Beautiful!
Thanks for the video.
I was quite pleased to be given a basket case Super a few years ago and just a few days ago bought a complete and running Special. I'll have to track down the restorer you mentioned.
I have a 1953 nsu sitting up in an old garage its all together
I am currently restoring a 1961 NSU Supermax in Ontario, Canada. Kurt Bachman mentioed in the video: any contact info available.
A fellow named Honda was an admirer of these bikes and it is easy to see their influence in his designs. Elements of the engine in the Maxes were carried through to the two cylinder engines in the Sport Prinz cars. These really are beautifully made machines, inside and out. I always thought NSU's name actually derived from Neckarsulm Strickmaschinen Union, not NeckarSUlm?
Thank you for this great video…I have the opportunity to buy a fully restored 1955 that looks exactly like this for a "Very Reasonable" price but i did not have any knowledge about these great bikes. Thank you for teaching me! Peace
Does anyone know if Kurt Boeckmann is still restoring and working on NSUs?
QUAL Â O Â NOME Â DESSA Â MUSICA ???
QUAL  O  NOME  DESSA  MÚSICA ?
The Max was a delectable bike, so advanced it could be manufactured today. Post-WWII, NSU re-made its fortunes with the cheap & cheerful 'Quickly' – the Honda 50 of its day.
If you look at a 'Max' carefully, you will find many similarities to the 1960s Honda 'Dream'. Accidental? I doubt it. One production line ended as a new one began. I suspect the 'Dream' twin design was bought by Honda from NSU as an abandoned project. Sadly, by that time NSU was more interested in making cars.
