Norton 850 Commando - on the move

Went for a walk last evening to return the lens I borrowed from my friend. I spotted an old bike approaching an intersection, and he had a red light. This gave me ample time to set up and hide so that I wouldn’t be seen like my last attempt at motorbike motion blur. Too bad he decided to change lanes and showed off the back of his helmet! This is almost straight out of the camera, all I did was some tone curve adjustment to reduce the blowout on the bus.

I didn’t review this photo until I was walking back home. I was immensely pleased when I zoomed in to notice that this was a vintage Norton Commando. I’m a huge fan of all bikes, but have a soft spot for the old British Bikes (especially once the electrics and points are upgraded). I was so happy with capturing this photograph of this Norton, until I looked up and….
