Classic Bike Guide: V-force – 2010 1330cc Godet Egli Vincent Vc. 1955 1000cc Norvin
For any builder of British classic based specials, the Vincent engine must surely be top of the power unit charts. Vincent went out of business almost 60 years ago yet such is the reverence in which they’re held that all parts are once more available today. This means that originals can be maintained and new ones can be produced. We take a close look at two different variations of a theme…

Wow! Very thorough review. I want one of each.
sound quality really sucks!!!
Why did they not put a "sleeve" over the mic to cut the dreadful noise? Spoilt the whole demo.
Apologies for the quality of sound here, when the editors are out on shoots we often rely on the assistance of third parties to shoot some of our footage and this can at times result in of the more skilled techniques that would usually be used not to be applied.
We are trying where possible to improve on this and are constantly investing in new cameras and sound recording equipment to help bring you a better production in the future such as some of our more recent show productions.
Thank you for the "heads-up", it is greatly appreciated. My intentions were not to "slag-off" or belittle the presentation, just aggravation getting the better of me for the moment, at what I presumed was forgetfulness of a basic action.I wish you every success in your future endeavours.
Lovely subject matter, but WHAT a pity you couldn't put a cover on the mic… Horrible sound quality!
well filmed and intersting cleverly modified bikes !
Nice video, too bad for the sound.
I would like to see this reshot where the wind noise didn't interfere with the narration. What a couple of beautiful machines. Wow! I'd love to own a new Godet Vincent myself. Who wouldn't. Fantastic engineering. You never mentioned what the top end of these two machines were, did you? That would be interesting to know how the advancements at Godet have improved the engines capability. Thanks for a good show.
If one pipe was a little shorter than the other it wouldn't whistle like a VW….
can you redo this video? The noise is terrible
Pity the audio is so rubbish
Terrible sound!
Shame about the wind noise but I guess the photographer was using the little microphone fixed to his camera and not a proper muffed job. Shame Clarky's not there anymore either, he was a natural at this sort of thing, but then the magazine's nothing like mas good as it was when he did it either, that's why I don't buy it anymore.
total amateur video
What a poor video, ruined by shit sound.
Crap sound !!
Geeeezz I thought this was a Hurricane weather report. Those bike need another take please do it again with a wind screen this time THANXS Use a some headsets to monitor your audio
Gentlemen, great commentary, when I could hear it :-))) But, for the love of God… Spend the twenty five quid on a remote mike! :-))) You do this often enough that it warrants a little better equipment. Or… Is the object of the exercise to incent us to buy the magazine, so we can figure out what you said?! LOL…
Very disappointed with CBG unprofessional production. Just hope a lesson has been learned. Enough said.
Get a bloody wind sock for your mike !
Bikes r just right on!
