TVS has introduced a new matte red paint option for its Apache RTR 160 and RTR 180 in order to capitalise on the upcoming festive season. The standard RTR 160 Matte Red is priced at Rs
77,865 while the rear-disc version costs Rs 80,194, representing an increase of Rs 1,000 for both. The RTR 180 Matte Red, priced at Rs 81,833, is also dearer by Rs 1,000 than the standard version. Apart from the new colour scheme, the Apache RTR range remains unchanged. The RTR 160 sports a 159.7cc single-cylinder motor making 15.2hp and 13.1Nm of torque, while the RTR 180 is powered by a 177.4cc single-cylinder mill producing 17hp and 15.5Nm of peak torque. Both engines are mated to a five-speed gearbox.
